Starfield Achievements for Terran Armada Tease Unannounced Features

StarfieldThe Terran Armada achievements are officially out, with many of them hinting at some previously unannounced changes. Bethesda published the new listing several days ago, prematurely Starfield DLC is scheduled to go live.

StarfieldThe Terran Armada DLC was officially announced on March 17. It's slated for release on April 7, debuting alongside the Free Lens patch, which Bethesda describes as the game's biggest free update to date. The developer recently previewed the upcoming update-DLC duo with a three-minute trailer and a write-up detailing the new features and content set to debut later this month. However, it now appears that the preview was incomplete, at least as far as the game's second premium expansion is concerned.

Starfield PS5 launches on April 7 alongside the Free Lanes and Terran Armada DLC in the game's biggest, most defining update since launch.

Starfield's Terran Armada achievement list hints at unannounced features and more

The full Terran Armada achievement list went live on Steam on April 3rd, four days before the release of the DLC. The listing suggests that the upcoming expansion will introduce additional features and content that Bethesda didn't mention in its March 2026 preview, whether on purpose or not. For example, the Master of Magnetism achievement has an entirely new context Starfield A place called New Babylon, where players will need to destroy robots on behalf of a person or group called Ivica.

Another reveal from the recently shared list is Achievement Overload, which suggests Delta, StarfieldA new moral gray robot companion, arriving as part of the Terran Armada, will be upgradeable. The scope of those upgrades remains unclear, but there are apparently enough that Bethesda decided to add an achievement to unlock them all. Meanwhile, Terran Armada will introduce an important new mechanic for this trophy: the ability to transfer outposts to factions. How the system will actually work remains unclear, leaving open questions such as whether transfers can be reversed and whether players retain any outpost advantages afterward.

Based on Bethesda's historical trend of tying trophies to quest completion, that is reflected throughout. StarfieldTerran Armada seems set to introduce about three or four major questlines. The upcoming expansion will add a total of 20 new achievements, growing StarfieldThe overall trophy count by about 32%. For comparison, the Shattered Space DLC that launched in September 2024 introduced 12 new achievements. That discrepancy doesn't mean Terran Armada will offer more content than its predecessor, though Bethesda's recent preview suggests that may indeed be the case.

The launch coincides with the April 7 arrival of Terran Armada and Freelance StarfieldThe PlayStation 5 port. A PlayStation version has been in the works for some time, partly because it was planned during early production, scrapped after Microsoft's March 2021 acquisition of Bethesda parent ZeniMax Media, and later greenlit again as part of the Xbox maker's multi-platform publishing push, which began in early 2024.
