Harald was also Zebeck's best friend, and when the latter died, he devoted his life to making Elbaf better. Harald also agreed to become a Holy Knight and fought on behalf of the World Government. With each passing mission, Harald gained favor with the higher-ups, and eventually, he was offered the Seal of the Swallow.

However, he did not know what he had left instead.

His return to Elbaf was marred by Emu, who ordered the king to turn the demons into loyal soldiers. Harald tried to resist, but the emu took control of his body. Eventually, Harald was stopped and killed by Loki.

The strongest point of the Elbaf arc is how well it combines action with storytelling. Oda balances the story with the action very well. At no point does it feel like the author is focusing on one thing more than the other. At times, Oda has been guilty of focusing too much on the story and neglecting the action aspect. Emu's first full appearance proves that Oda is bringing out all the big names. For years, Emu's true face and identity were a secret, but that changed in the Elbaf arc. The ruler of the world government got involved personally because he wanted to bring Elbaf to his knees. By revealing new details about the final villain, Oda has essentially made it clear that the story is rapidly approaching its climax.

Oda also left a lot of knowledge in the Elbaf arc, including the Harley texts and new details about the warrior god. Last but not least, the fights in the Elbaph arc are amazing. Fans have been treated to incredible conflicts between various characters, some of which were truly memorable. Since Oda uses a lot of big names and raises the curtain on some big One Piece mysteries, it's possible to guess that this manga is coming to an end sooner than fans think.
