It's a shame how Eustass Kid went from defeating Big Mom in Wano to experiencing a miserable defeat by Shanks on the coast of Elbaf. As a result, Kidd's status remains unconfirmed, whether he is dead or alive, but given Oda's habit of faking deaths, it is highly likely that Kidd survived Shanks' divine departure even though he left the area in ruins.
