GOG has added four vintage 90s games to its archive, all of which will remain free to claim until May 8, 2026. GOG continues its preservation efforts and, as part of its ongoing program, has partnered with developers from xLand, a former Polish studio, to modernize and preserve its cult-favorite classics.
It's unlikely that the new generation of gamers know much about xLand unless they're really into DOS-era games. The company is considered one of the most influential developers in Poland, with many titles that have reached beyond the country and found audiences in places like the United States. One of them is the game Electro ManAlso known as Electro body In some areas, that is now part of GOG's claim-free promotion.

Steam's latest offering in the free-to-keep promotion is the horror game 2025 with solid, mostly positive reviews on the platform.
GOG is giving away four nostalgic games right now
To celebrate the addition of xLand Games to GOG, the company has launched a limited-time promotion until May 8, 2026, allowing players to claim four titles for free. Lineup included Robot And its enhanced version, Adventures of Roboalong with Heartlight and mentioned above Electro Man. The first three are well-respected classic puzzle games known for their clever level design and beautiful retro visuals. Meanwhile, Electro Man is an action platformer that has maintained a loyal cult following to this day.
Source codes for most of these xLand titles have been available online for some time. However, they often require some technical know-how to run on modern PCs. There is also a fan-made browser version Electro Man Which lets nostalgia-seeking players try it out for free. Still, GOG's current program and promotions make these titles more accessible and compatible with modern devices, which is great news for fans of 90s games.
Robot and Adventures of Robo It's the same game. The latter is a refined version ready for release outside Poland several years after the original launch. However, both titles can be claimed separately on GOG.

xLand games aren't the only freebies GOG users can claim. Storefront has added two more freeware titles, Fort Remonstered and Maszinawhich anyone can download and play for free. The two are not part of any promotion and will likely remain free to play indefinitely.
