Nintendo has updated its best-selling list Switch 2 Games, confirming strong sales for the console's exclusive games as well as one of its enhanced Switch 1 ports. The Nintendo Switch 2 got off to a hot start last year, with critically acclaimed games like Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Banana Only playable on the new home console/handheld hybrid.
Nintendo has continued to support the Switch 2 with exciting new games since its initial launch, along with more exclusives. There are also challenges on the horizon for the console, however, as Nintendo recently announced that the price of the Switch 2 will be going down to $499.99 starting September 1st. If Nintendo wants to convince people to pay more than ever for the Switch 2, it needs to make sure it's delivering a steady stream of high-level games.

With that in mind, Nintendo recently released its latest sales numbers for various Switch 2 exclusives, though there's a caveat. The numbers provided by Nintendo are as of March 31, and therefore they are not 100% accurate, but Mario Kart World 14.7 million units have been sold so far, the latter Donkey Kong Banana 4.52 million, Pokemon Legends: ZA 3.94 million, Pokemon Pokopia 2.41 million, and finally, Kirby Air Riders at 1.87 million.

Nintendo's same financial report since launch made it clear, Pokemon Pokopia In fact, 4 million units have been sold, but a certain number will have to wait until the next quarter. It means this Pokopia It is likely to be ahead Pokemon Legends: ZANintendo Switch 2 version, but possibly a little later Donkey Kong Banana. Still, when you take it into account Donkey Kong Banana The Switch 2 was released a little over a month after launch and Pokopia At only two months old, it is incredibly impressive. At the rate it's going, it's entirely possible Pokopia Will catch up eventually Mario Kart WorldOr at least get close.
A big thing to work against Pokopia Sales never reach Mario Kart World The latter is the fact that millions were bundled with Switch 2 launch bundles. There is a new Switch 2 Pokopia A bundle is on the way, but so far it's only confirmed for release in Australia and New Zealand. If the bundle becomes more widely available, perhaps it will have an edge Pokopia Potentially need to be caught or crossed Mario Kart World one day
But then again, Nintendo raising the price of the Switch 2 means that there will be fewer people buying the new console, and therefore fewer people buying its games. It will certainly be interesting to see how the Switch 2 price increase affects things going forward, but the console itself has sold nearly 20 million units at last count, so there's at least already a large install base for its games.
