After the breakout launch with the original Temtemafter Temtem: Showdown and Temtem: swarmDeveloper Crema has brought another project to Kickstarter within its IP, and it's called Temtem: Pioneers. I like it a lot Temtem: swarm Bullet Hell chose to defy the theory of monster-collecting games with gameplay mechanics, Temtem: Pioneers At its core is a survival game. According to Crema, the survival mechanics aren't necessarily limited, and the game largely retains the aspect of finding, taming and training monsters to support you on your adventures. The game's monster-collecting identity takes an interesting turn here, as you'll be able to use Tems as mounts, fight wild Tems and Downbelow bosses, and help collect resources.
There is a lot to unpack when it comes to this Temtem: Pioneers' Below, its critics, its gameplay, and what the developer has promised so far. Interestingly, when the Kickstarter campaign wrapped up, Crema decided to allow late pledges for those who missed out on the campaign but still want to pick up the game or other addons. Furthermore, the game came with seven stretch goals on Kickstarter, and all of them have been cleared. They range from additional biomes to game-changing features like PvP arenas, and here's everything you need to know.

However, most of the Kickstarter's stretch goals focus on adding meaningful features to the game:
- Funding goals — 90,000 Euros (about $105,000): This was the goal set for the Crema development, and it was reached in eight hours.
- Crystal Biome (Stretch Goal 1) — 140,000 Euros (about $165,000): The first stretch goal adds a new biome to the game's selection, which is the Crystal Biome. Specific encounters have not been revealed yet, but they will likely involve a variety of crystal-type Temtem.
- Fossil Thames (Stretch Goal 2) — 250,000 Euros (approx. $294,000): This stretch goal adds a total of 6 new TemTems. Temtem: PioneersThree base fossil forms and each with an evolution. It's still unclear what this will translate to, but Crema confirmed that it will be a quest chain that also unlocks dungeons.
- Improved mount system (Stretch Goal 3) – 300,000 Euros (about $352,000): Third stretch goal for Temtem: Pioneers Adds new features to the mount system on Kickstarter. This allows players to use mixed terrain mounts and go faster by training their mounts on each terrain.
- Dark Forest Biome (Stretch Goal 4) — 350,000 Euros (about $411,000): This stretch goal adds the second and final additional biome to the game, this time focusing on the location of the psychic-type Temtem. As with the first, it's not clear exactly what it will contain, but early photos show several returning Tems.
- New TemTem Variations (Stretch Goal 5) — 400,000 euros (about $470,000): The fifth stretch goal adds not one, but two new color variations for each TemTem. If you're familiar with shiny Pokemon, each tame previously had a Luma color palette unique to that species, with Umbra added as a universal variant. Now, Pioneers adds variations of Auri and Iris, probably always yellow/golden tems for the former and iridescent for the latter.
- Customizable Game Modes (Stretch Goal 6) — 450,000 euros (approx. $529,000): This stretch goal will allow players to customize their servers and how their survival game plays overall, for both solo play and co-op.
- PvP Playground (Stretch Goal 7) — 500,000 euros (approx. $588,000): The final stretch goal was reached less than 24 hours after the end of the campaign, and it will provide players with a PvP arena to test their Tems against other players in a mode similar to battle simulation. Pokemon Showdown.
These seven are all stretch goals for the game, and it's worth noting that no extras were added, and no missed goals existed. New features not mentioned or expanded in the campaign may be added to the final version of the game or its alpha version for fans. For example, various owners are primarily indicated, one of which is confirmed as a landlord. Crema has also confirmed that reproductions are in the game and that it will be more accessible than the original game, although it remains to be seen how.
still, Temtem: Pioneers Shaping to be a nice addition Pokemon– Like games and its own IP. While very different from TemtemWith real-time combat and survival mechanics, it can be the fresh and yet familiar experience the series needs.
