His Devil Fruit is a legendary zone that allows him to transform into a golden Buddha, with offensive powers that rival Whitebeard's Gura Gura no Mi. Not much is known about his powers, but Roger has said that only Grape and Sengoku were able to fight against him and his crew. This makes Sengoku one of the few respected by the Pirate King.
