Developer and publisher IO Interactive took to social media to make the announcement 007 First lightEncouraging fans to pre-order a free deluxe edition upgrade. This is a pretty convincing reason to pre-order, even though pre-orders are increasingly frowned upon by large sections of the gaming community. The offer is available through launch, and 007 First Light'Current pre-orders include a handful of new skins for the game, such as the Day of the Dead outfit, the Desert Explorer outfit, the Silent Anchor outfit, the Gentleman Operator outfit, the Gleaming Pack gadget skin, and the Agent's Mark weapon skin.

Going Gold is a major development milestone for any video game, obviously because it marks the end of base game development. Two weeks is the usual period for a “gone gold” announcement, so there's no big change for fans. But it's not a big change for active developers, not necessarily dependent on the game. IO Interactive will undoubtedly continue to support the game, patch out bugs, and possibly create DLC. 007 First light. What happens post-release for the title remains to be seen, but what's next for the release?

Once May 27 hits, players can expect around 20 hours of playing and beating 007 First light. Of course, some players may be faster, others slower, as it all depends a lot on playstyle. But it's a solid length for an upcoming James Bond game, without a doubt.
