Dead as disco early access discount expires tomorrow

Today, May 18, is your last chance to get in as Dead before Disco's early access introductory discount increases its price to $24.99 and more content is likely to be added.

Although 2026 hasn't given us a clear Game of the Year frontrunner like it did last year with Claire Obscur, the last five months have still been full of non-stop bangers. As great as Resident Evil Requiem, Pokopia, Pragmata, Saros, and Forza Horizon 6 are, however, there is one indie game that danced its way into many of our hearts.

I'm talking of course about Dead Age Disco, which, even in Early Access, is easily up for my current Game of the Year. If all the glowing reviews for the game have tempted you to dance, today might be the best time, as its introductory Early Access discount ends tomorrow, May 19.

When Dead as Disco launched into Early Access earlier this month on May 5, it did so with a 20 percent introductory offer to welcome new players and everyone who's been patiently waiting since the free demo dropped. That launch offer dropped the game's price to $19.99 instead of $24.99.

As the official Dead at the Disco Instagram page points out, that discount is about to expire. Today, May 18, is the last full day you can get Dead as Disco for $19.99, as the price will be permanently raised on May 19. The reminder message says the price won't drop this low again until “well after 1.0,” which is currently planned for 2027.

Dead As Disco's Steam page also confirms that “we plan to make significant additions during Early Access” to increase the price.

At the time of writing, we don't know what Disco's price increase will look like, but we do know the content planned to be added, including new idols, songs, game modes, quality of life improvements, and more. As it stands now, Dead as Disco is already in great shape, so if you're even slightly tempted, now's your best chance.
