Rayman Legends Retold is getting some flack for Barbara showing less skin

Last night's State of Play delivered one banger after another, with the reveal of God of War Laufey, gory gameplay for Marvel's Wolverine, and after all those leaks, the official announcement of Rayman Legends Retold. The trailer looked fantastic, but it seems some people had a problem with Barbara the Viking's new look.

Rayman Legends Retold gives its cast of characters a modern redesign, while maintaining the overall look and feel from the original. The retold version of the characters has more detail, better lighting, and some design adjustments. However, there are some complaints that the devs showed Barbara less cleavage.

Some people are not happy with Barbara the Viking's new design

According to some posts on Twitter, some people think that Ubisoft redesigned Barbara to not show too much skin. While it's true that the original showed quite a bit of her cleavage, the Retold devs may have thought it was too much to begin with. However, it is not as if it has been completely removed.

These posts use a specific frame from the trailer to get their point across, but going through any other scenes of Barbara is as revealing as she was in the original Rayman Legends.

However, that is not the point. Who really cares about how much skin Barbara shows in the first place? This is exactly what most of the answers to the posts have said. It's a great day for Rayman fans, and the game looks absolutely fantastic. So, no one really gives a damn about the side character's cleavage.

In addition, Rayman Legends Retold is a 3D reimagining of the classic game, with new content, such as voice-lines, cutscenes, and even completely new levels. The dragon-riding parts, in particular, are completely new, giving seasoned and new fans alike a reason to get into the game.
