Diablo 4 Season 14 sees Barbarian once again at the top of the meta. After its great success in Diablo 4Last season's meta, Barbarian is once again proving to be one of the best options for players diving into Season 14. Diablo 4's S-Tier Mighty Thro Barbarian Build Doubles as a Call of the Ancients Build
From Call of the Ancients was the focal point of the best barbarian creations Diablo 4previous season. Lord of Hatred's reworked skill tree allows more barbarian skills for summoning the ancients, creating the “Minion Barbarian” archetype that centers the summoning of the ancients. Now, Mighty Throw can join this setup thanks to Ramaladni's Magnum Opus potential to be Mythic, which allows this build to optimize its DPS output by scaling with Max Fury for a double whammy of powerful offensive skills.

Along with Mighty Throw and Call of the Ancients, the two main damage-dealing skills in this build, Diablo 4 Barbarians can use their Shouts plus Iron Skin for their offense and defense while also summoning more Ancients into battle. Iron Skin with the Juggernaut upgrade grants players unstoppable and knocks back enemies in addition to hindering players beforehand.
Challenging Shout and War Cry both use their respective Ancient upgrades, summoning minions to deal damage when activated. Rallying Cry's Booming Upgrade grants the Barbarian 40% more resource generation and a 10% increase in movement speed. The increased resource generation is especially important as this build aims to scale damage with the Fury resource generated by the Barbarian.
The Mightiest Upgrade for Mighty Throw is used in this build to transform the skill into an ultimate, but it significantly increases its damage as a result. Once used, a weapon thrown from Mighty Throw pulses to deal more damage through its shock waves, essentially dealing damage over time. While on cooldown, Call of the Ancients can be used to supplement Mighty Throw to keep damage output steady as players face hordes of monsters.

Edgemaster's aspect is important to this build as it increases the Barbarian's damage based on their available primary resource, being most effective in Full Fury. It creates synergy with Ramladni's magnum opus but the player must always keep his fury up. To get the most out of Mighty Throw, the Wildbolt aspect is essential, as it pulls enemies towards the Barbarian every 1.5-3 seconds, allowing players to easily group enemies before hitting them with Mighty Throw.

Crossing and Conceited Aspects have a similar function, increasing the damage a player takes when a Fortified or Barrier is active, respectively. Adding the Ancestor aspect to this build further increases the damage summoned by the Ancients through these Shouts pact.
With Mighty Throw becoming the ultimate skill for the Barbarian, the Vehement Brawler and Apogeic Furor aspects are essential. Vehement Brawler increases Barbarian's damage after casting an Ultimate Skill while adding +2 more ranks to their Ultimate Skills. Meanwhile, Apogeic Furor's aspect reduces the cooldown of the Barbarian's other skills when they cast the ultimate, allowing players to quickly refresh their voices.

Arreat's Bearing adds another Ancient summon to non-ultimate Ancient summoning skills, while Call of the Ancients' summons have increased damage.

How to play Ancient Barbarian's combo Mighty Throw/Call in Diablo 4 Season 14
Despite managing the cooldowns for two different ultimate skills, having both Mighty Throw and Call of the Ancients in this Barbarian build makes gameplay fairly straightforward. To begin with, players will want to activate all of their shouts and iron skins as they prepare to engage enemies. It effectively deals with a large portion of weak enemies that the Ancients summoned with challenging shouts and battle cries. So, players can cast Mighty Throw after enemies are grouped together. The final piece of this puzzle is Call of the Ancients, which can be used to deal damage while on cooldown with Mighty Throw, as well as reducing Shouts' cooldowns via Apogeic Furor's aspect to start the combat loop again.
