However, solo leveling isn't the only thing that dominates the anime department. Its video game, Solo Leveling: Arise, is just as popular.
On May 8, 2024, solo leveling officially went on to get the biggest video game of its time — Single Level: Get Up. Solo Leveling Arise is a PC and mobile game from Netmarble Studios, bringing out the full potential of the series. Since Arise is a gacha-style game, there are always new updates and content to look forward to. Recently, solo leveling Aris announced the release of a new Hunter to the roster. On June 2, 2026, during Get up solo leveling June live stream, developers announced Agnes Rivera. Now, on June 25th, 2026, her production has officially ended, as confirmed in the last post on X, and we have confirmed that she will be going to Solo Leveling Arise on July 2nd, 2926.
Agnes Rivera isn't the first Dark Hunter in the game. The story's main character, Sung Jinwoo, also belongs to this category, but he is the very first Dark Buster Hunter. Buster Hunter is a brand new class that debuted in June with Liu Zhigang, so it's already exciting to see it expanded with a new character. His main abilities seem to be physical growth and dark fog. It remains to be seen what will happen in this game.

We don't know much about Agnes Rivera right now, but what we do know is that she is a master of a guild from Italy – the Italian Rivera Guild. Since the solo leveling story mostly focuses on Asia and North America, this new reveal makes Agnes one of the few relevant European hunters, as well as the first Italian hunter. Solo Leveling Arise describes Agnes as 'bold, arrogant and sometimes cunning' and as we can see from her short dialogue in the teaser video. In the game, she will be released with an alternate skin, 'Omerta in Paradise', for the occasion of the summer event. He is definitely a hunter that many are excited to unlock and use in battle.

We are all very excited to welcome this new Italian Hunter to Solo Leveling Arise. She's definitely a hunter of sorts, and luckily, she's falling into the game soon. While she was first announced in early June, her work is now officially over, and she's ready to release to us. Agnes Rivera will be included in the upcoming July 2, 2026, Solo Leveling Arises update. This update is only a few days away, and what's even more exciting is that she's not releasing it alone. With her in the July update, more content is officially coming.
While Agnes is the highlight, Jinwu is adding his iconic shadows to the game – the shadow of greedy, S-rank hunter Huang Dongxu. The forum detailing the update also revealed that the new Daily Essence Stone boost will be discontinued for now. Instead, something newly modified is coming, so we're excited to see what's in store for solo leveling Arise. Players can also expect it to include a Dark Hunter balance buff, and other bonus items, new skins and tweaks to the game. With the July update now almost out, we can't wait to see what's next for the game and what new characters will be added in the next update after it.
Agnes Rivera stands as a powerful S-Rank hunter as a top tier competitor
Agnes Rivera holds a high status among Italian hunters, as the Guild Master of a prestigious guild. The Rivera Guild is a huge corporate-like guild, and being at the top of it reflects her power, but despite her power and status, she still cares for the members as if they were her own family. More interestingly, Agnes Rivers' character card from Solo Leveling Arise reveals a shocking fact. He is a new S-Rank hunter. Of course, this makes sense since most guild masters of large guilds are often S-Rank. This is reflected in the guilds of South Korea and other countries, and it makes sense for Italy to be the same.
This means that not only is Agnes the new Dark Hunter, but she also belongs to the S rank, making her a powerhouse, and possibly even the strongest hunter known from the European continent so far in the absence of a European national level hunter.
Sadly, as is the case with any character added to Solo Leveling: Arise that did not appear in Chugong's original web novel, Agnes Rivera is not a canon character. Her character would be an interesting addition to the Aries universe, but she doesn't exist in the true solo leveling universe. Regardless, we can't wait to see how her story unfolds and learn more about her personality through the Solo Leveling: Arise dialog after her character drops on Thursday, July 2, 2026. She might be the most interesting original addition to the game, and based on fan feedback, she already seems like a fan favorite.
