Shinku's best F2P team and rotation guide

Build a strong Shinku team NTE The charge revolves around connecting with characters that can prolong and improve reactions, which creates Hathor and Nanali A perfect fit in his team. He also needs his own build to deal maximum DMG after casting his ultimate. Therefore, it is better to build her with it Blushing Mirage Arc along with Missing Radiance Cartridge Set. That way, you'll have a built-in core DPS to go all out during his ultimate. In this guide, I'll go over everything you need to know about Shinku after carefully testing all of Shinku's team options and builds.

Red Mirage

Statistics

  • 570 Base ATK

  • 24% crit rate

T1 effect

Increases ATK by 20%.

After casting the Ultimate, increases the wearer's Cosmos DMG by 32% and allows the wearer to ignore 12% of enemy DEF for 20s. Reset duration when retriggered.

Blushing Mirage is Shinku's signature arch in NTE. This is her best arc as it maximizes her DMG after casting her ultimate, where most of her DPS comes from. It also gives Shinku higher base ATK, crit rate, and ATK%, which are the stats I recommend for his build.

Fluff of ferocity

Statistics

T1 effect

Up to 10 stacks, increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 4% for 10s after landing a critical hit. Reset duration when retriggered.

Fluff of Ferocity works well with Shinku as it grants Crit DMG and ATK% from his effects. However, he still needs to have a decent crit rate to use the crit dmg buff effectively. So, only consider Fluff of Ferocity if you've already built up a good amount of crit rate on him.

A time will come

Statistics

  • 475 Base ATK

  • 20% crit rate

T5 effect

Gives the wearer 18% ATK, 18% DEF, and 18% HP when the team has at least 3 different Esper types.

A Time Will Come works as a F2P stat stick for Shinku because of its crit rate substat. Other than that, having three different elements in Shinku's team adds nothing but an 18% ATK buff.

Shinku Best Console

lost luster

effect

epic (2)

Cosmos DMG +10%

legendary (4)

Ignores 25% of enemies' DEF for 20s when the wearer casts Ultimate. The effect does not stack.

Lost Radiance works perfectly with Shinku as it adds 10% Cosmos DMG and allows him to ignore 25% of the enemy's DEF after casting his Ultimate. Add the 12% DEF Shred Shinku gets from his Signature Arc to the 25% he gets from the Lost Radiance set, and Shinku will be extremely powerful after casting his Ultimate during battle.

Best module set

Shinku gains 16% Crit DMG for each Type III module you build on him. After testing with several module sets, I found that you can build him with a total of four Type III modules, two from his missing Radiance set, and two for free later. This means after you build Shinku's module set he should gain a total of 64% extra crit dmg.

Shinku excellent team

Shinku has a team that works well with his kit. If you replace Nanally with Jiuyuan you can make it a F2P team, but it will reduce the team's overall DPS a bit. You can also replace Nanally with Eroi later.

Shinku + Hathor + Zero + Nanali

Shinku's best team consists of three sub-DPS characters, without any sustain or support units. Even though the team doesn't have heals or active buffers, it still works because I find that each character fits perfectly to help make this team's rotation smooth and effective.

Role of character

TL; DR

1. Shinku regenerates the team's energy with his Charge Enhancement.

2. Hathor prolongs the Remora debuff to make the charge reaction last longer.

3. Zero triggers a quick blossom reaction with Nanali, greatly reducing the team's turn time.

4. Nanali buffs Blossom Reaction, allowing it to attack more often, thereby regenerating more energy from Shinku's Charge Enhancement passive.

Shinku's Charge Enhancement passive acts as a sub-DPS to Nanali by giving her energy when she's off the field. This also allows Shinku to act as another sub-DPS on that team. Both Shinku and Nanali buff Blossom and Charge reactions to continuously replenish the team's energy, while both later take turns unleashing their ultimate and basic attacks. You can replace Nanali with Jiuyuan, as she also boosts Blossom reaction to give the team more energy. The only difference is that Nanally deals more DMG than Jiuyuan when active, while Jiuyuan provides some off-field DPS.

Hathor is the most important member of this teamShe increases Remora's duration from five seconds to about 12, giving Shinku enough time to replenish the team's energy for their Ultimates. It's hard to replace him with other Laxana characters, as the team will only benefit from Shinku's Charge Enhancement passive, as enemies will keep losing their Remora status during combat.

Zero is another important character in this team, as they can trigger the Blossom reaction with Nanali without slowly filling the Esper cycle. That's because of their skill that instantly fills it up, cutting turnaround time significantly. They are a F2P character, so there is no need to replace them with another person with a Cosmos element, as no other Cosmos unit provides the same benefit on this team.

Team rotation

TL; DR

1. Start with Shinku: Fill her Esper Cycle.

2. Switch to Hathor: use her ultimate, then skill.

3. Switch to Void: Use their Ultimate, then the Skill.

4. Switch to Nanally: Use her skill, Ultimate, then basic attacks for about six seconds.

5. Back to Shinku: Use her Ultimate to refill her Esper Cycle, then basic attacks and skills for the entire duration.

The rotation for this Shinku team begins with the completion of his Esper cycle. This allows her to trigger a Remora reaction on enemies when you switch to Hathor. Follow Hathor with ultimate and skill. Zero can immediately trigger an Esper reaction with their skill, so turn on their Ult before using their skill and triggering a Blossom reaction with Nanali.

After using Nanally's Skill and Ultimate, you can keep dealing DMG with her Basic Attacks until her Underboss disappears, which lasts about six seconds, so put Nanally on the field during that window. After that, switch to Shinku to open his kit and complete his esper cycle again. In every battle, passive energy regeneration triggered by Shinku will keep the team's energy replenished, keeping the entire rotation moving smoothly between all team members.
