The best meta specializations in the finals

Healing Beam - Finale Image via GameRant; Source: Embark Studios / The Final

Healing Ray (Medium)

Still go to the best and expertise. Provides mobile therapy for you and your teammates. Combined with the Heavy Classes Healing Emitter, your entire team can regain their health at any time.

winch (heavy)

A chain claw capable of pulling objects and players closer to you. It received a notable nerf for both its surprise ability and how quickly players can react in Season 11. However, it's still an effective tool for reeling in players for quick eliminations with close range weapons. Pairs well with shotguns that can easily be used by one-tap light players.

Evasive Dash (Lite)

Dash a short distance ahead. It has received a major nerf since Season 11, significantly reducing the number of dashes from 3 to 2, but its cooldown has been buffed to balance it. Still excellent lighting expertise, great for bursts of mobility to either close the distance or avoid incoming fire.

Aries Shield - Final Image via GameRant; Source: Embark Studios / The Final

mesh shield (heavy)

Project a shield in front of you that blocks incoming damage and provides shoot-through cover for your teammates. Incredibly effective for team and objective play, providing mobile cover for your team when they take damage.

Dematerializer (Medium)

Dematerialize surfaces to allow players to walk through or see through them. Great for creating quick openings on objectives to flank, breach, pull in objects or players, or create escape routes. Then the ability to rematerialize these surfaces also makes them incredibly useful for denying entry. Has a generous 3 charges and is an excellent all-rounder.

Charge 'n' Slam (Heavy)

Used to damage players and charge through objects or slam the ground while performing in the air. In modes like Cashout it can be used to decent effect to clear the opening towards the objective. Great for gaining penetration and getting the drop on enemies, and pairs remarkably well with Melee weapons.

Viable specializations in finals

Guardian Turret - Finale Image via GameRant; Source: Embark Studios / The Final

Guardian Turret (Medium)

Throw down the AI controlled turret. Excellent for providing suppressive fire at the casepoint, with reinforcement of aim. However, it is not exceptionally strong and is more of a nuisance to the enemy team. Viable, but not perfect.

cloaking device (light)

Become semi-invisible for a short period of time. This ability received a notable nerf for Season 11, such as a reduced cloaking duration, with energy drain reworked to drain slower when crouching or stationary, but faster when walking or sprinting. Still viable, but not quite the best ability in the game.

grappling hook (light)

Deploy a grappling hook and pull yourself towards it. A good form of mobility that can be used to scale buildings and quickly engage or eliminate fights. Cooldown is relatively short, but a single use makes it meta down compared to Evasive Dash.

shockwave (medium)

Throw down the orb that creates the shockwave. Great for knocking down players and objects. Shockwave plus jump pad technology still works for Season 11, giving players a great movement strategy. It's mostly situational, but can be used to pull off some great plays.
