Crimson Desert Another new update was received in July, this time a smaller patch compared to previous releases focused on improving the experience and stabilization for players. from the beginning of Crimson Desert Back in March, Pearl Abyss seemed to be a very busy studio, releasing rapid-fire updates for the game that brought fixes, improvements and more content to the popular open-world action-RPG.
Game support for Crimson Desert The Pearl has been a very important element to Abyss, making a huge impact both within and outside of the community. Choosing to respond to players rather than set a defined roadmap of post-launch content, Pearl Abyss has been able to quickly address pain points from fans, as well as targeting new content that many felt was lacking or missing entirely. Already, the game has added improvements to many parts of the game such as new end game content, new activities, features, and control scheme. However, work continues with a new patch.
The latest update may not be as exciting as the previous major Crimson Desert Updates, as it only focuses on fixing backend issues and other gameplay-related issues that players are running into. These include rewards not being released, frame rate drops that can occur in certain environments, rendering issues, as well as gameplay-related issues such as Oongka not following Kliff correctly in some key quests.
Crimson Desert There is no shortage of mounts for players to unlock while playing, but unfortunately, some players have run into some trouble due to the game crashing. This patch tries to fix them, especially crashes related to riding on Bear Mount. In addition, challenges will now be correctly given to players once unlocked, unlike before, some noted that they got stuck or were not accepted by the game once the requirement was met.

In addition to solving problems, Pearl Abyss has some big plans for fans. First, it looks Crimson Desert Pearl Abyss CEO Huh Jin-young addressed a possible port during a recent Q&A session with shareholders that could launch on the Switch 2 in the future. Specifically, it was confirmed that the development team was reviewing if the Switch 2 can handle Crimson Desert and that, as of now, the basic gameplay is playable. Much work remains to be done before this becomes a possibility, including significant optimization and validation to meet company standards.
However, fans continue to wait for news about the game's future content. Pearl Abyss has previously been confirmed for major DLC Crimson DesertBut details are scarce for now. Will Powers, who is the director of marketing and PR for Pearl Abyss, provided a few more details, calling the project “DLC” and saying it would be different from previous updates. Without giving anything away, Powers teases that there's “a good reason we're calling it DLC.”
