Federal Representative Iraes Reyes and Senator Luis Donaldo Colosio have announced plans to file an antitrust complaint against PlayStation regarding the company's physical media plans in Mexico. The two lawmakers have argued that the move could give the PlayStation Store a monopoly, while also hurting stores that specialize in selling used games. Race and Colosio plan to file complaints with the National Antitrust Commission as private citizens. PlayStation's digital push limits the concept of ownership, and the complaint will address the fact that users will be forced to pay to license software instead of owning it.
