Lille: A migrant has died trying to cross the Channel from northern France to Britain, the seventh such death since mid-July, the French maritime authority, Premer, announced on Sunday. The dead man was found on an overcrowded boat after passengers called for help, Premer said, pointing to a new case of people “drowning at sea (but) dying of illness or crushes.”
