Be aware that there is only a limited time to transfer your original Pocket Camp data, so don't forget or you will lose your past progress forever. Here's everything you need to know about transferring in your precious favorites and all your hard work.
How to link your save data to a Nintendo Account
Whether you want to migrate from the original Pocket Camp to the full version, or want to move your entire save data from one device to another, you First you need to link your game data to Nintendo Account.
Open a pocket camp (or complete Pocket Camp if you're moving to a new device) and Select either 'Transfer save data' or 'Before changing device'. This will take you to a new screen that prompts you to create or link a Nintendo Account, after which you can link your save data.
How to Transfer Data Savings from Original Pocket Camp Be warned that you can only transfer your save data from Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp June 1, 2025 at 11:00pm PT/07:00pm BST.
Once you've linked your original Pocket Camp data to a Nintendo Account, Open Pocket Camp Complete and choose 'Continue' Instead of 'start fresh'. On the next page, Select 'Transfer' To recover your saved data.
Once you have recovered your save data in Pocket Camp Complete, be aware that from now on if you delete the app, the save data will also be deleted. You can back it up when you change devices, which we cover below.
How to Transfer Pocket Camp Complete Data to Another Device
Open Pocket Camp and complete it Choose 'Before changing device' on the title screen. If you haven't already, you'll need to link a Nintendo Account, but then you can Select 'Store Data'.
Save data is stored for seven days, after which you have to save the data again if you have not yet transferred to a new device.
On your new device, download and install Pocket Camp Complete and Select 'Continue' on your new device. It will prompt you to sign in with your Nintendo Account so you can retrieve your saved data.
If for some reason the title screen doesn't show this option, you can do that too Go to 'Misc'. section of the menu and select 'About changing devices'. To reach the same 'Store Data' option.
