Frank Lapidus

First Appearance: Season 4, Episode 2

Frank Lapidus was supposed to fly Oceanic 815 on the day of the crash, but because he overslept, another pilot had to take over. He could immediately tell that the plane found at the bottom of the sea was a fake and it started making noises. Before long, he was recruited and joined the rest of Widmore's team at Frater.

He was in charge of piloting the helicopter that flew between the island and the ship. At the end of Season 4, he helps the Oceanic Six escape from the island's grip. Fortunately, that's not the last we see of Lapidus. He later returns to the island by piloting a flight for Azira Airways.

Alois Hawking

First Appearance: Season 3, Episode 8

Throughout the show, we get to see different portrayals of Eloise Hawking, the Mian group time traveling through the years. She lived there for many years with Charles Widmore, which makes it even more obvious how familiar she is with the island.

The knowledge she gains is later important to the group, as she guides certain characters such as Daniel Faraday and Desmond Hume, and then helps Ocean Six and Ben return to the island. Although she's not one of the most likable characters on the show, she's one of the most important.

Daniel Faraday

First Appearance: Season 4, Episode 1

Daniel Faraday is a very intelligent physicist who comes to Widmore's cargo island. His true intentions are hard to decipher when he first arrives on the island, but it's clear that he's not just fascinated by its scientific implications.

Faraday is important because he is not only able to explain many of the events that occur on the island after season 4, but he also has special relationships with Charles Widmore, Alois Hawking and Desmond Hume.

Daniel Russo

First Appearance: Season 1, Episode 9

Daniel Russo is one of the first off-plane characters we meet lostAnd she is very interesting. After losing her entire crew, this mysterious French woman has been living on the island for the past 16 years, searching for her daughter, who was taken from her as a child.

While Danielle's participation in the show has dwindled significantly as the seasons have passed, it's satisfying to finally see how she gets closure when she doesn't get to hang out with Alex for long, and how we finally get to see what happened to the crew. When the main cast goes back in time.

Richard Alpert

First Appearance: Season 3, Episode 7

Richard Alpert came to the Black Pearl Island in the 19th century. The Black Pearl was a slave ship that washed up on the island; The group goes back to it at various times during the show to grab the dynamite.

Alpert appears several times throughout the show, and despite the date he always looks the same. He works as an advisor to the guardian of the island, which was originally Jacob. Instead, Jacob gave him one wish; He was told to “live forever” which prevented him from aging and was able to take his own life.

Juliet Burke

Benjamin Linus is a character that many fans will dislike for most of the show. He constantly lies and manipulates people, i.e. John Locke. He is jealous of how the island and others consider Locke to be someone special. The island healed Locke while it sickened Ben, and the others quickly followed him as their leader.

Although Ben was able to redeem himself, he always seemed to revert to his old ways in constant selfish actions to gain leadership of the island and compete with Charles Widmore. Despite his evil ways, he is one of the best characters lostAnd one of the most important plot points during a major part of the show.

Desmond Hume

First Appearance: Season 2, Episode 1

Desmond Hume is one of the best characters lost. He's such a great character that when you go back, rewatch the show and remember there was an entire season without him.

Desmond is not only an important character because of his strange relationship with Charles Widmore due to his love affair with Penny Widmore, but he also gains a unique ability when the hatch explodes, which makes his involvement in the plot very important. On top of that, in season 6, he helps his friends realize what's going on with the Flash sideways.
