GAZA STRIP, Palestinian Territories: At least 10 people were killed in an Israeli attack on a school compound in Gaza City on Saturday, the Civil Defense Agency of Gaza said. “Ten people were killed and many injured due to Israeli bombardment of a school in Hama,” agency spokesman Mahmoud Basal told AFP. The Israeli army said that it struck the command and control center of Hamas inside the compound. Bassal said the compound houses Palestinians displaced from their homes by the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas militants.
