A Grand Theft Auto 6 fan may have purchased a web domain from Rockstar

If there's one thing Rockstar loves more than delaying Grand Theft Auto 6, it's going all out on parodies. As we know through an alleged leak, when GTA 6 is finally released, there will be in-game parodies of several modern real-life websites, including What's App and Uber.

However, things don't stop there, Rockstar has been known to create real-life websites that mimic what is seen in the game and often navigate to them while trying to direct people to Rockstar's main homepage.

For example, if you navigate Eyefind.infoYou will then be redirected to the Grand Theft Auto IV landing page.

What GTA 6's delay means for the games industry

The entire release calendar GTA 6 runs every time, so how does the latest delay affect everything?

This is an important reference because a GTA 6 fan is convinced that the actual web domain they purchased and then acquired by a holding company was actually being done by Rockstar themselves. They also have all the evidence in the world.

This time, a fan was one step ahead of the rockstar

On Reddit, u/rainyaltaccount shared a detailed account of what happened to the domain. visitgloriana.com After they bought it following some heavy references in GTA 6 promotional material.

“I decided to register visitgloriana.com and redirect it to https://rockstargames.com/VI for jokes (and to troll people),” the user wrote.

However, little did they know, Rockstar, or at least one of the companies they worked for, was also on to things.

“Fast forward to the end of 2025, I was contacted by an intermediary that someone was interested in buying the domain for around $600,” they continued. “I turned it down at first because I thought it was just someone joking. A few days later, they came up with a very aggressive offer, which made it clear they were serious. After some back and forth, we negotiated and finally agreed on a final price of $2000. They sent me the money and I gave them the domain.”

now, visitgloriana.com, which is not active as of this writing, has a registrar named MarkMonitor. Go figure, MarkMonitor, a corporate domain management company, is also the registrar of several other websites under the Rockstar umbrella, mentioned above. Eyefind.info And now visitgloriana.com.

Note, other GTA 6 related websites are also under this company, including a WhatsApp spoof site. However, unlike iFind, Take-Two's information is not shown in Whois lookups. That could obviously change in the future.

“If it's really Rockstar… sorry for taking $2K out of GTA VI's budget,” they concluded.

Whether this all ends in GTA 6 remains to be seen. But there are certainly too many coincidences to ignore.
