LEGO's The Mighty Bowser set was first revealed in July 2022 and first hit store shelves about three months later. The 2,807-piece set, aimed at ages 18 and up, depicts the King of Koopas standing on a stone plinth between two flaming torches bearing his trademark insignia. At 12 and a half inches tall, and a little more than 16 and 11 inches wide and deep, respectively, this is one of LEGO's more articulated builds, with head movement, snapping jaws, other poseable points of articulation, and even a mouthful of fireball launcher. Retailing for $269.99, it will soon be added to the retired set list, making this build especially attractive to collectors.
Now, the casual Amazon customer has a choice, and they seem torn between the options of selling a duplicate set, returning it for a refund, or doing something really good with it. One tempting suggestion involves getting a little creative, breaking the construction instructions and building a monstrous two-headed, four-armed Bowser instead.
