ARC Raiders Developer Embark Studios has released a short teaser video for the game's upcoming Flashpoint update, confirming that Shredder, the deadliest ARC enemy in the game, is finally escaping the confines of Stella Montis. With March quickly approaching, Embark plans to end the month with another big one ARC Raiders The content update, which will be the third of four confirmed patches coming as part of the shooter's 2026 roadmap.
After a huge launch success last year, Embark started the new year with a big roadmap for 2026. ARC Raiders. As per the studio's plans so far, ARC Raiders It will receive four updates between January and April, with possibly more updates on the way later. The first, known as the Headwinds update, arrived in January, adding the controversial 1v3 matchmaking option, a new Buried City exclusive map state, and a new player project. Then, in February, the studio deployed Shrouded Sky, another major content update that added two new ARC enemies, a new location in Dam Battlegrounds, a major map state, and more.
Between the marathon and ARC riders, it's clear who took the bigger risk (and it paid off).
Marathon and ARC Rider are two of the biggest withdrawal shooters of the past few years, but one is clearly more experimental than the other.
ARC Riders break out Stella Montis' Shredder
Last week, Embark announced a third ARC Raiders The Content of the Year update will be released on Tuesday, March 31 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Now, with the free patch fast approaching, the studio has released another teaser video, this time showing Shredder making his way onto another map soon. The trailer's caption reads, “Someone forgot to close the door to Stella Montis on their way out,” with an accompanying video showing the Blue Gate's underground tunnels, all of which confirm that the deadly enemy will be added to the map in next week's Flashpoint update.
For those who have been keeping up to date with Embark Studio since its launch ARC RaidersThis probably doesn't come as a surprise. Earlier this year, design director Virgil Watkins revealed in an interview with PC Gamer that the PvE aspect of the game will be given a new twist in the future as Shredder will be added to other maps. ARC Raiders. It has now been revealed that the enemy will indeed be arriving at the Blue Gate with Flashpoint next week, but it remains a mystery whether or not Embark plans to add Shredder to more maps in the future.
Despite this fact Shredder, who was added ARC Raiders In the post-launch update with Stella Montis, currently only available on single maps, she is the deadliest enemy in the game. Earlier this month, Embark revealed the top five deadliest ARCs on social media ARC Raiders. Firefly, barely a month into the game, came in at number three, while Rocketeer was in second place, while Shredder was in first place. The studio didn't reveal how many raiders fell victim to the Shredder, but you only need to travel to Stella Montis to see how deadly they can be.
Needs a shredder though ARC Raiders With Stella Montis leaving and heading to the Blue Gate next week for the players to change their tactics, the reception from the fans doesn't look very positive. Many fans seem to be calling for Embark to focus on new content instead of adding existing enemies to other maps, with some speculating that the “new ARC threat” teased for March's Flashpoint update won't be so new. “There's no way we're hyping Shredders as new content on other maps,” content creator and streamer Cloxie said, while another user said, “I beg you, please don't call Shredders the new ARC threat. Please.”
