ARC Raiders Reveals First 2026 Test Challenges

With the new year now in full swing, developer Embark Studios has officially released the first set ARC Raiders Trial challenges for 2026, offering players new tasks to complete in exchange for some potentially lucrative in-game rewards. As 2025 approaches, ARC Raiders Players started their first campaign and completely reset their characters and progress, which means the second season is now here, with a second week of trial challenges for Season 2.

For those who may have just picked up ARC Raiders In the recent Winter Sales and Trials, they are just one of the many in-game opportunities given to players to earn gear and items to take Topside. Each test, which changes every Monday, has a specific objective for players to complete. This usually involves destroying a specific ARC type, exploring certain areas, or interacting with items and items while Topside. Players can attempt their tests in each match, but points do not stack each match. There are three stars that can be earned per challenge, each earned by earning 1000, 2500, and 4000 points in a challenge. The rewards for each star are random uncommons, rares, and epic pieces of loot.

How ARC Raiders Dev Reveals Game Style Factors into Matchmaking

Embark Studios' CEO reveals how gamemaking influences gamers' playstyles in ARC Raiders.

Fans have often complained that trial challenges can be repetitive, so Embark decided to mix things up with last week's set. ARC Raiders Tests by requiring players to throw snowballs at Rocketeers. This objective added a whole new kind of challenge for players, as the Rocketeer is one of the deadliest enemies in the game, with the ability to destroy players in just a few hits. Thankfully, players quickly used the ARC while it was incapacitated by stunning it with a Showstopper Grenade before exploding it with a snowball. It was still definitely one of the riskier challenges of the week, but it was definitely a fun way to keep the players on their toes. Now, just over a week later, players need to stock up on their snowballs once again, as the latest set of testing challenges require players to throw this time into the basin.

How to complete ARC Raiders Week 11 Trials

  • Damage Snitches

  • Throw snowballs at Bastions

  • Damaged strongholds

  • Look for supply drops

  • Cut the plant

The latest set of ARC Raiders Trial Challenges are officially live for the week of January 5th to 12th. Players trying to get as many points as possible need to damage snitches, throw snowballs into basins, damage strongholds, find supply drops and cut plants. Similar to last week's challenge, players must go to the Cold Snap Map Modifier to stock up on snowballs then throw them at the Bastions. This deadly enemy type has a fast rate of fire and can be found in the Buried City, Blue Gate, Dam Battleground, Spaceport, and Stella Montis. As with the Rocketeer, the best way to approach this challenge is to stun the bastion with a showstopper grenade before unloading as many snowballs as possible from it.

As for the rest of the challenges, the damaging snitches can be done all over the map, but they spawn more often in the likes of the Spaceport or the Blue Gate. The number of ARCs in Night Raids has also increased, so it's worth going to the map modifier for a better chance of seeing more snitches. When it comes to searching for supply drops, players will need to find small call stations scattered around the map. These dams are often in battlefields and burial cities. Finally, plants can be harvested by gathering mushrooms, agave, great mullein, or moss. Again, these spawn on the majority of maps, but are more frequent in the Spaceport.

It's shaping up to be a big week ARC Raiders Players, as developer Embark Studios is back from its Christmas break and is gearing up to release the first patch of 2026 on Tuesday, January 6. The studio has already confirmed that it has also hinted at a possible fix for players exploiting the most overpowered item in the game: the Trigger Nade, and the fire rate in Kema. Fans should not expect any new content from the new ARC Raiders Update, but with the new year now in full swing, Embark may soon reveal what its plans are for the next 12 months.
