Players will have one week to rack up the highest possible score for each new challenge before the next set rolls on Monday, December 8.
Like ARC Raiders Player numbers continue to soar, with many new players heading to Topside for the first time each day. As such, there are likely some who have no clue how the testing system operates. Thankfully, it's pretty simple and a fun way for players to earn new rewards every week. Each challenge has a three-star system that allows players to earn Uncommon, Rare and Epic packs based on how many stars they earn per challenge. Trials on community leaderboards also pit communities against each other. The higher an individual places on the leaderboard, the more they climb up the ranks at the end of each week and thus earn additional rewards such as cosmetic items.

It officially means Monday, December 1 ARC Raiders Players have a new set of trial challenges to compete with. Many of which are easy enough for experienced players, such as damaging hornets, one of the most common enemy types found on all maps. Destroying pops, which can also be found all over the map, and delivering carriers. However, this week there are some tougher challenges, requiring players to damage Rocketeers, Leapers, or Bastions, which are some of the deadliest enemies. ARC Raiders. For those looking to earn three stars in this particular challenge, it's best to jump into the Night Raid, as ARC enemies spawn at a much higher rate, meaning that one (or all) of the aforementioned ARCs will be easier to spot.
Another tough challenge this week is opening as many ARC probes as possible in one raid. Although the actual task of opening the probe is simple, finding them is a real challenge, as their spawn rate is erratic. However, if players are active at the right time, they can go to one of them ARC Raiders' Map modifiers are called Prospecting Probes. During this limited-time raid type, the number of ARC probes is increased which makes this specific testing challenge much easier. This can occur on four of the game's five maps, including Dam Battlefield, Burial City, Blue Gate, and Spaceport.
While the trials give players a chance to earn rich rewards, many are already tired of the repetitive challenges each week. One Reddit user called the system “absolute trash” while another said it needed a complete overhaul. Many have pointed out that the trials are unfair to single players, as party groups are able to rack up points together, while those playing alone are at a huge disadvantage, making it nearly impossible to climb their way up the leaderboard. Others have also criticized Embark for recycling many of the same challenges each week, calling it “lame”.
Embark has not commented on player reception in the trial at the time of writing, but fans will be happy to know that a major new content update is set to be released this month. For those who are tired of the weekly challenges and want to check out something else, a new Cold Snap patch will be released at some point this month, according to ARC Raiders Roadmap to 2025. Fans can expect new Blizzard map conditions, a new event, a new raider deck, more quests, and departures for the first campaign.
