CrossWorlds fan adds baby Goku to the roster

For all the dozens and dozens of Dragon Ball games out there, from RPGs to fighters, if there's one genre missing, it's a racing game. After all, how cool would it be to have baby Goku and Piccolo (driving school) running around Kame House?

Well, thanks to one fan, we're a little closer, thanks to this Kid Goku mod for last year's surprisingly good racer, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Go figure, Goku fits like a glove with the large number of crossover characters already present in Crossworld.

As first shared on social media, Goku replaces AiAi in Super Monkey Ball. He rides a flying nimbus and there's even some music to help bring the experience full circle.

The mod, which can be found on GameBanana, is more than just a simple overlay or character replacer. For example, the horn is the sound of the Dragon Radar pinging, and the Super Monkey Ball Festival has been completely replaced with Dragon Ball theming.

Like we said, a lot of effort was put into it and it shows.

Mario Kart Sonic Racing Spins in front of Sonic and other characters in Crossworld.

Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is better than Mario Kart World, but that doesn't change anything

Mario Kart is a juggernaut that will remain elusive, no matter how good its competitors are.

In the end, Goku fits like a glove, not because he's awesome (no bias), but because Crossworlds is such a fever dream that it's not that crazy to think he could one day become official DLC.

Crossworlds is truly a place for IP crossovers, whether they make sense or not.

Just one look at the roster for CrossWorlds and the scheduled list of DLC, and you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a fan-made creation. Except, it isn't. This is 100 percent real life.

Because beyond the silly cast of Sonic and his friends, there's SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, as well as Minecraft's Steve and Alex, as well as Pac-Man, Mega Man and Proto Man on the paid side. Then on the free side, there's Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona 5, the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise, Nights and the aforementioned AiAi.

So look at that list and tell me that Kid Goku and the Flying Nimbus isn't an A-plus addition. you can't But until then, we'll have to settle for community creation.
