Going into Season 11, Diablo 4 There were a lot of expectations to be fulfilled after the spectacular season 10. Like many fans, I was wary of whether the proposed changes would be enough to raise the bar. Diablo 4 Season 11 for the status quo needed to feel effective, and I was particularly concerned about the well-maintained tempering and masterworking system and the new sanctification mechanic as a replacement for Chaos armor. Although the season was aided by the surprise release of the Paladin class at the start of Season 11, the rest of the changes made Divine Intervention's season one of the best to date, with one exception holding it back.
Part of what I love about diving into the new Diablo 4 The season is experimenting with new mechanics as I create my builds. Trying out new builds is my favorite part of the game, so any new features that speed up this process would be great for me. Creating a powerful build in Season 11 has never felt better, thanks to the streamlined gear upgrading system and bonuses provided by Divine Gifts, the reworked Potion system has been hit or miss for me, and I wish I could do something to improve it.
Season 11's changes to Diablo 4 are almost perfect, but the new potions mechanic is disappointing.
Apart from overhaul for tempering and masterworking, one of the marquee features of Diablo 4 Season 11 has increased combat difficulty. I appreciate the effort to improve enemy behavior and add more threatening suffixes to some enemy types, especially because Diablo 4 Has always felt relatively easy like other ARPGs Road to exile 2. In an effort to further add to the difficulty of combat encounters, Diablo 4 Season 11 has changed the way potions work, but this change is essentially my only sore spot this season.
How Diablo 4's potions have changed in Season 11
-
Limited to 4 drugs
-
Potion instantly heals 35% of life
-
Alchemist has no potion upgrades
-
Potions recharge 1 every 30 seconds
Prior to Season 11, players could increase their potion capacity up to 9 by upgrading their potion slot. Diablo 4Alchemists of after reaching a certain level or improving their reputation. These drugs also healed over time rather than instantly, and did not recharge over time. While some of these changes are useful in the long run, they're also forcing me to rethink my combat strategy, which often results in poorly timed deaths.
There is a + potion ability suffix that can be found on pants Diablo 4So it is possible to get 1 or 2 more charges from that.
Diablo 4 Season 11's new potion system can make or break tough encounters
I understand that reduced drug charges should make combat more strategic Diablo 4 Season 11 eliminated players' ability to constantly chug drugs to keep themselves alive. For the most part, I haven't had a problem losing too much life, since my paladins are built for this Diablo 4 Season 11 is very tanky and has it's own in-built healing abilities, there are cases where I panic and just go potion because I'm out of charge. The flaws of this system become apparent when potion drops are limited, and some enemies damage the stack faster than they can heal.
This new potion system also has benefits, and I think the ability to recharge 1 potion every 30 seconds is a nice consolation prize for removing the ability to upgrade them. Instantly restoring life instead of over time can also come in clutch in tight combat situations. However, out of all the changes in Diablo 4 Season 11, it still feels like it doesn't hit the mark like the others, and I hope to see it tweaked more in the future.
