Diablo 4 Season 11 makes this 1 boss fight basically pointless

The season of divine intervention is about to descend upon the sanctuary, and Diablo 4 Players will have to say goodbye to some of Season 10's best features. While Diablo 4 With Season 11 bringing some major changes to features like combat, fame, and gear upgrades, it's hard not to be a little disappointed that Chaos Armor and Chaos Perks will be gone after Season 10 ends. Getting caught up in the changes is one Diablo 4 The boss, who will no doubt get a direct rework, will be affected for the worse in Season 11.

Going by the wayside despite Chaos Armor and Chaos Perks Diablo 4 Season 11 Some of the new features introduced in Season 10 have stuck around permanently. A rework of the Infernal Hordes and its added boss Bartuc, Lord of Chaos, will still be available in Season 11. However, Bartuc's main claim to fame will no longer be there, causing him to be overlooked by a host of players in the upcoming season.

Diablo 4 players have little reason to fight Bartuk in Season 11

In a complete 180 from her role in Diablo 4 Season 10, Bartuk is going to be a boss with very few players actively farming him. Previously, Bartuc was a great resource for accessing season 10 highlights, such as:

  • Guaranteed Chaos Armor on Torture 3 and 4

  • Unique chaos benefits

  • Scroll of restoration

  • barrier

  • listen

Bartuk was added to the standard Fell Council as an optional boss that players can complete each wave of the Infernal Hordes. However, he requires a hefty 666 Burning Aether to access, meaning players will need to optimize their Infernal Hordes run for a shot at reaping his rewards.

Bartuc will no longer drop chaos armor or unique chaos perks

Without chaos armor or chaos perks Diablo 4 Season 11, choosing to fight Bartuc will be much less attractive. In Season 10, defeating Bartuk was the only way to get unique Chaos Perks, which meant players wanted to create a meta. Diablo 4 Builds must face him at least 4 times to unlock all the unique chaos features for their class. Farming Bartuk was also one of the best ways to earn Chaos Armor, as he was guaranteed to drop it on Torment 3 and 4 difficulty.

Blizzard has not announced whether Bartuk will receive a new seasonal item drop in Season 11, but based on his Infinite Realms version, it looks like Bartuk will keep all of his same drops minus the Chaos Armor and Perks.

Bartuk is a very expensive infernal hordes boss with a bad payout this season

While Bartuc will still give up significant resources in defeat, such as Gold, Obdusite, and standard legendary and unique gear, the 666 Burning Aether price doesn't seem like an appropriate trade-off without Chaos Armor or perks to sweeten the deal. The Fell Council is free to access after the Infernal Hordes race, and these same resources collected by Aether players can be spent in their reward chests instead of the equivalent, rather than large amounts. The only reason to choose Bartuk on the Fail Council Diablo 4 Season 11 is for Scroll of Restoration, which has new perks under change Diablo 4Temper system of.

Scrolls of Restoration allow players to reset the temper charges on an item so they can re-temper it to their liking. Previously, an item's temper charges could only be restored once by a scroll of restoration, but Season 11 removes this limitation. However, since tempering now allows players to choose their favorite suffix instead of randomly leaving it to chance, Scroll of Restoration may not be necessary going forward, unless players decide they want to change their build at some point. What makes 666 Burning Aether worth the Scroll of Restoration is that it's up to the player to decide to take it up to challenge Bartuk, leaving the boss to finally reveal his Season 10 shell.
