Diablo 4 Season 12's new uniques are the first of their kind since October 7, 2024.

Diablo 4 Season 12 is in the awkward position of being sandwiched between the releases of the Paladin class. Diablo 4 Season 11 and the Lord of Hatred expansion are coming in Season 13. As such, expectations for Season 12 should be somewhat tempered with major changes coming to Lord of Hatred on the horizon. There is still much to be excited about Diablo 4 Season 12, especially with a new batch of Uniques crossing one of the categories for the first time since Season 6 in October 2024.

Diablo 4 Season 12 is adding more generic uniques for the first time since Season 6

The addition of new uniques is a major part of each Diablo 4 Season after launch, though some seasons have added more than others. While the first few seasons Diablo 4 Strengthened the line-up of uniques available for players to acquire, things have decreased over the past few seasons, mostly by adding 1 new class-specific unique for each. • Blood-Mad Idol – Unique amulets (all classes)

  • Unique Suffix: You are always berserking but take 200%[x] Damage increased as it burns over 8 seconds. While burning, Berserking deals an additional 75-125% increased damage.

• Wendigo brand – Unique ring (all classes)

  • Unique Affix: Every 15 hits in the last 30-60 seconds increases your damage by 2%, and max health by 1%.

• Rustbitten Dirk – Unique Dagger (Sorcerer, Druid, Rogue, Necromancer)

  • Unique Affix: Increases damage to isolated enemies by 50-100%.

• Wyrdskin – Unique gloves (all classes)

  • Unique Affix: Attacks weaken distant enemies, and weaken nearby enemies. Increases damage by 10-30% to weak and vulnerable enemies.

• Thousand Eyes River – Unique one-handed ax (Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin)

  • Unique Affix: Moving grants ferocity, and max ferocity is increased by 1-3. Ferocity also increases movement speed by 4-8% per stack.

Three new out of five Diablo 4 Season 12 uniques are usable by everyone Diablo 4 classes, while two are used by multiple classes. Instead of giving each class a new unique, adding more generic uniques should help with meta build diversity in the upcoming season, as classes will have more new uniques to try out.
