While Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 While Zombies experienced some major highs and lows in Season 1, such as the release of Citadel Des Morts and the brief removal of camo farming in Guided Mode, the mode remains very strong overall. In many ways, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies is exactly what players have been asking for after a few years of controversial changes, as its round-based maps offer strong survival gameplay and plenty of streaks to find. The game also feels like a marriage between modern inventions Black Ops Cold War and dear Black ops 3 Thanks for bringing back elements like Gobblegum, although this is an aspect of the game that could still be improved.
To be clear, in Gobblegum's implementation Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies is solid. Players can grab up to three Gobblegums at a time, pick up a free gum each round, and have a chance to randomly get any Gobblegum in the game every 8-10 rounds. Small post-launch touches also added a bit of polish to the system, making the Gobblegum portion of the HUD cleaner by letting players have the first three gums in their packs. in Black Ops 6Gobblegums feel sturdy but not overpowering, and they can be earned continuously without requiring players to spend COD points. However, getting exactly what Gobblegums players want is less simple, so it's a shame there isn't a Newton's cookbook. Black Ops 6. Still, alternatives can fill the void that cookbooks provide.

Call of Duty players will want to circle January 28 on their calendars as Treyarch confirms something big for Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
What was Newton's cookbook in Black Ops 3?
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3'Newton's Cookbook feature essentially allowed players to trade in some of their Goblegums for other, more desirable ones. For example, if players have a bunch of Killing Time and Temporal Gift gums but none of the game-changing Perkaholics, they can trade the former for one of the latter, giving them a chance to get what they want. The three recipes on offer change daily, giving players a reason to log in each day and even their least favorite Gobblegums a purpose. When a particularly good recipe appeared, it felt like an event, along Call of Duty Zombies fans jump at the opportunity to collect as many rare gums as possible.
Unfortunately, Newton's cookbook is unlikely to return Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 For the sole reason that Gobblegums are the main way in which Zombies mod is monetized. Players can purchase packs of Gums with COD Points, and Gums appear in Battle Passes, paid bundles, and through Prestige progression. The addition of Newton's cookbook will push players away from buying Gobblegum packs, as they can grind random Gobblegums to exchange them for what they want when the right recipe appears. Activision would likely be against returning Newton's cookbook, as it would cut off a source of revenue, so improving Gobblegum would require another approach.
The more Gobblegums are added, the harder it will be to get just what players want, as each rarity will be expanded with more potential drops.
How Can Black Ops 6 Improve Gobblegum Without Newton's Cookbook?
Returning to Newton's Cookbook Black Ops 6 While Zombies may be a pipe dream, there are other ways Treyarch can make it easier for players to get the gummies they're looking for without having to spend real money or expect good RNG. These options include:
- Gobblegum Trading: Perhaps the simplest solution is to let players share their Gobblegum with their friends, just like they do with mystery box weapons. After the gum is spit out, it can be picked up by other players by matching it to the machine.
- Gobblegum Spins: Dr. Something like Monty's Factory would be nice to see Black Ops 6. Although it will likely be monetized through paid spins, since only the daily spin is free, it would be beneficial to let players have another way to earn Gums.
- Gobblegum Awards: Treating Gobblegum as a reward could be an interesting opportunity for Treyarch. like Call of Duty: WarzonePlayers can be assigned medals based on their performance in the game, with each medal tied to a gum. For example, most door purchases may offer gummies like wall-to-wall clearance to save generous players money on future runs, while most revives may offer items like Phoenix Up and Nowhere But There.
Regardless of the route taken, it would be great to see Treyarch refine their existing Gobblegum system. While Gobblegum is probably mandatory, and can be earned so often that the current format can't be considered pay-to-win, it's very difficult for players to get the exact Gobblegums they're looking for right now. This can be especially frustrating since things like camo challenges require certain gums, so hopefully more expansion. Black Ops 6The Gobblegum is planned.
