Fallout Season 3 Reconfirmed by Walton Goggins at Fallout Fan Celebration

If you're a fan of all things Fallout, there's no better place to be this weekend than the actual real-life locations that make up Fallout New Vegas this weekend for the fourth annual Fallout Fan Fest. Aside from getting a chance to celebrate one of gaming's most treasured franchises, who knows who you might run into, like, say, Walton Goggins, AKA, The Ghoul himself.

Because that's exactly what happened to attendees on Saturday, when Goggins, who wasn't part of the confirmed guest list to attend, showed up, greeted fans, made a few drinks and reaffirmed the atomic-sized bombshell.

Fallout will have a third season on Amazon Prime.

Yes, that's it. Don't ask for more details because there don't seem to be any, plus Fallout Season 2 hasn't officially been released yet. It may not be until December. No matter what, Goggins wanted everyone to know that the breakout video game adaptation will be around for another season.

It was already technically renewed by Amazon, but it's nice to hear it from the actor himself.

One user wrote, “Two things I love about the show. “The cast and Walton Goggins. I know he counts as a cast, but it felt wrong not to have him twice.”

Goggins wasn't just dropping big news in New Vegas

At some point before or after the news was dumped, Goggins decided to jump behind the Pioneer Saloon and serve some drinks to the fans. From the looks of the photos, yes, these drinks are Fallout-themed.

It's also worth mentioning that Goggins took the time to thank fans for all their support. In a very touching speech, Goggins said he was aware of all the love Ghoul had received.

“Thank you for all your support, and I can't tell you how much it means to be a thread in the fabric of this community,” he said. “It's incredible.”

If it wasn't already clear, it sure is now – Goggins deeply appreciates being part of the larger Fallout community and the experience is not lost on him. It's safe to say he loves the franchise. Long live Ghol.
