A sequel to a lesser-known series by mangaka Toru Fujisawa Shonan Juni Gumi and Bad company, The great teacher Onizuka Continues the adventures of Eikichi Onizuka, a now ex-criminal who is trying to lose his virginity and stumbles into a teaching job because of it.
Onizuka is put in charge of some of the meanest kids there, and while the other teachers struggle, this former gang leader is more than ready to handle them. GTO is a great series that definitely tackles some heavy themes from time to time, although Onizuka is always able to turn things around.
