Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis, Square Enix's FF7-universe mobile gacha game, doesn't seem like it's making much money, not long after its strong launch. I monitor monthly sales, and the revenue just isn't all that great. But I doubt SE will keep it up until the third and final part of the trilogy begins, as a way to wave flags and engage die-hard, money-spending, fans.
Most of the time, the path is clear. Bonus outfits for Tifa and Aerith. Even the clouds. Playing as young Sephiroth! Sometimes, poor Barrett actually gets new gear too. Heck, honestly, Glenn and Sephiroth's first soldier story? Not bad. There are reasons to play Ever Crisis. One thing I hadn't thought of? what can Get a peek at one of the iconic weapons – Planet Defense Kaiju, basically – who are sure to shake things up in the finale.
Maybe I want it better on PS5 graphics…
Yeah, uh… I don't know. It's kind of…smear-y? It helps to see it in action, at least, where the scale is a little more obvious. So, I'll link the YouTube trailer for Ever Crisis' “2.5 Year Anniversary Show” in a second. I'll also timestamp it, if you're like me and start snoring when you see gacha games advertising incremental content upgrades and limited-time bonus spins.
As you can see, this specific sub-event is titled “Weapons Showdown: War for the Planet”. And it has the ultimate weapon front and center. Does the ultimate weapon always redesign the crisis is necessary Will Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 use it instead of doing its own thing? no But I have to imagine that the people behind Ever Crisis have had at least semi-regular meetings with, if not Naoki Hamaguchi himself, then, of course, some of the top-level staff on the remake project.
If this actually turns out to be true for part 3, it's kind of wild that ever crisis doesn't just “spoil” it, so to speak; This too has been done with minimal fanfare. I just hope the Ultimate Weapon's wingspan is bigger when we take to the skies with it in midel and above. The original design (see my feature image for this article) kicks ass.
