It's been a long road to this point, but fantastic Fire Force The anime is finally set to end in the next episode or two in the winter 2026 anime season. Both the long-awaited final battle against the White-Door Cult and the beginning of the great cataclysm have arrived, and all Fire Force Fans expected a lot. The real question is how it all ends as Shinra and Sho Kusakabe confront Houma in the strange realm of Adola to decide the future.
For the most part, it is too late to save the Tokyo Empire that the Kusakabe brothers once called home, the flames of hunger consuming everyone and everything in their path. One world is ending as another begins, but at least the Kusakabe brothers can fight to change planet Earth on their own terms. one way or another, Fire Force's shonen anime universe needs a change in what fans see Soul Eater Years ago, and it may be because of what the Kusakabes did to Haumiya – or perhaps what they said to this strange serene saint.
Fire Force Episode 24 Preview: Haumea Welcomes the Apocalypse
Will Shinra and Sho find a way to defeat Houma and save the world from a great apocalypse?
Shinra and Sho hold fate in their hands
In most battles Fire Force already finished, with Fire ForceThe strongest characters either emerge victorious or are defeated once and for all. Fire Force That final battle, either for better or for worse, ended with the much-anticipated doppelgangers suffering quick defeats at the hands of Tamaki Kotatsu, Shinmon Benimaru, and the rest. Indeed, those battles and their consequences can feel demonstrative Fire Force Viewers, the real showdown in Adolla is still shaping up as those fights have just padded the runtime. It takes more than physical victory over doppelgangers to save the world from ending.
So all eyes are on Shinra and Sho Kusakabe as the brothers travel to the remote region of Adola to confront Houma, who is nothing like the energetic, quirky girl they saw in previous episodes. In the end, Houmia is behaving like the self-proclaimed saint she is, letting go of her erratic behavior in order to calm down. This is the real Houmia that heroes like Arthur Boyle the Knight and Akitaru Obi never saw, a righteous girl who was completely devoted to ending the world in flames. Haumea is determined on Adolla, determined to end the world that channeled so much painful despair into her overwhelmed mind.
Fire Force: The 7 Best-Written Villains in the Franchise, Ranked
Fire Force is carried by its awesome villains. managed to stand out from all these.
Right now, the stakes are physical and personal as the Kusakabe brothers face off against Houma, and it's uncertain how the conflict will be resolved in episode 24. Neither Shinra nor Sho can actually strike Houma thanks to the latter's divine guidance, making Houma a passive, last-ditch defense. This contrasts him with the endgame threats found in the shonen “big three” like Madara Uchiha and King Yowatch, but Houma is no less annoying for it. Thus, Houma represents the inevitable, unstoppable change that the protagonists must somehow make peace with. Shinra's usual way of saving the day doesn't work here, even with Sho's support.
Perhaps, the Kusakabe brothers will have to try from a personal angle, finding a way for Houmia to accept the nature of humanity, comfort and pain alike. Haumea is determined to destroy everything To rid himself of the bad side, but “take the bad with the good” can change his mind if Shinra and Sho can convince him with personal examples. That, or they could be persuaded to save enough earth to make room for Haumea Soul Eater The world, rather than wipe out the whole thing in apocalyptic flames. Remarkably, Arthur survives the battle against the dragon and can return in time to contribute to whatever game the Kusakabe brothers cook up.
