Following Roman Reigns is a challenge for any WWE Superstar, but many fans believe that certain roster members will have a major role in the company's future. The same can be said for video games. If John Cena's retirement tour was a reminder of anything, it's that these WWE Superstars aren't here forever, and some mainstays like Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, or even Roman Reigns will eventually retire. There are many future main roster WWE contenders, however WWE 2K26 Rightly puts the spotlight on Brawn Breaker.
Many fan favorites have been paraded as the future of WWE. Je'Von Evans is a major up-and-coming name that has been making waves since his introduction, and he officially joins the Raw roster in early 2026. He has already entered the Elimination Chamber. Jacob Fatu is there, representing Bloodline now and in the future. Oba Femi has always been an influential NXT talent, and various names join these personalities, such as Rhea Ripley (now and future), Stephanie Walker, Dominic Mysterio, Ilja Dragunov, Tiffany Stratton, and many others. Brawn Breaker is already a WrestleMania main eventer in WWE 2K26
WWE 2K26The plot of MyRise is about the comeback of the archetype, a generalized fantasy comeback story, but they come back to face the world champion in Brawn Breaker while playing in the men's division. The story eventually culminates in a WrestleMania main event between Breaker and The Archetype, but it's not a random selection because Breaker is a future WM main eventer. It won't be in 2026 (without major shenanigans), as the World Title scene at WrestleMania is developing without him, and he's out of programming due to injury.

There is little question among WWE or fans that Breaker has had many WrestleMania main events. He has the X-factor, the physicality, the in-ring abilities—if there's any room for improvement, it's his versatility when it comes to cutting promos. But this is not a simple observation from outside WWE. WWE has hinted at the same within.

In many ways, WWE 2K26MyRise Mode is a preview of the future. It wouldn't be surprising to see Brawn Breaker main-eventing WrestleMania within the next few years. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him become a Paul Heyman guy … but maybe he should be on the lookout for a comeback in either archetype.
