I don't need to tell you that Fortnite is gaming's ultimate champion of IP crossover. Everyone knows. Even people like me, who have lived our entire lives without installing a game in one form or another, are well aware that the collaboration potential inherent in Epic Games' commercial juggernaut knows no bounds.
Every now and then, I still The crossover announcement managed to surprise. Or, as in the case of this hot little rumor, an unannounced upcoming event. Players of a certain age can quickly turn to Bears, Beats and Battlestar Galactica; And yes, I chose that specific joke because I love Battlestar Galactica.
I'm calling HR
Prolific Fortnite leaker ShinaBR posted a video on YouTube that rounds up the latest information, such as their custom. One thing stood out, at least to some: the mention of the upcoming arrival of “a nostalgic couple from a live-action TV series.” Now, obviously, this alone doesn't remotely close things.
Sheena, however – and we appreciate the heads-up on this, Insider Gaming! – Said it could be a very good office. As IG's own article notes, that doesn't mean it's a given. So, take it with a grain of salt, because the leaker himself doesn't go so far as to call it a guarantee. If it does, though… it's kind of wild, innit?

Stars aligned?
Already, people are theorizing who the couple could be. Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute are the best I like; They're the most iconic, which isn't to say The Office wasn't bursting with a beloved ensemble cast. I think Jim and Pam are a “couple” but I'm not taking that word literally. The more simple it is, the better, two characters. Which is pretty much what I expected for a sitcom, and now I'm imagining a world where they add Frasier and Niles from the older, and even cooler, NBC sitcom. (I said what I said.)
Are you looking forward to Dwight's chance at the battle royale? With the right players, anything is possible. We look forward to finding out if the rumor is true. Also, would you personally prefer Pam Beasley and Jim Halpert? Like I did? If so, leave a comment. Not because I'm an engagement-farmer, but because I need to know if my colleague and I are alone in this sentiment.
