Hell Diver 2 Redacted Regiment reveals Warbond, adding a special ops set of weapons, armor, and gear for players to dig into later this month. 2025 was a very busy year Hell Diver 2The popular game has experienced many highs and lows with its community, including launching on the Xbox platform, while also suffering from deep technical issues towards the end of the year. Thankfully, the game appears to be back on track and poised for another strong year.
In fact, after fixing some frustrating technical issues, including allowing players to reduce the game's file size, Hell Diver 2 2025 ended with a special holiday event. Known as the Festival of Reckoning, this year's edition of the event lasted much longer than previous editions and allowed players to try new limited-time strategies and other experimental techniques along with special key commands. Some of the new strategies were so popular that fans were even requesting permanent additions to the game. While fans have yet to see that come to fruition, the first premium Warbond of 2026 has finally been revealed.

The latest premium Warbond for Hell Diver 2 Takes on a stealthier and more secretive theme. The Redacted Regiment will be on sale starting January 20th and comes with a variety of new gear, including two armor sets, two primary weapons, and a ton more. The R-72 Sensor is described as a mid-range precision rifle with a suppressor attached, allowing for stealthier kills. Alternatively, players can use the fully automatic AR-59 Suppressor Assault Rifle instead, which also comes with a “non-removable” suppressor. Finally, there's a dart-firing secondary pistol that releases chemicals that make enemies “strange” and turn on their own allies for a short time.
Two new strategies are also available, including the B/MD C4 pack strategy. This backpack gives players 6 C4 charges that can be set as well as a wireless detonator that can be detonated individually or with other players for some truly devastating explosions. Alternatively, there's the TM-01 Lure Mine, a throwable mine that not only sticks to surfaces, but attracts enemies using lights and sounds to draw them in. Following in the footsteps of others Hell Diver 2 Warbonds, Redacted Regiment includes two new armor sets that allow players to better personalize their character. Following the special operations theme of this warband, players can equip the RS-89 Shadow Paragon Light Armor or the RS-67 Null Cipher Medium Armor. Both sets have the Reduced Signature passive which reduces the noise level and range at which enemies can detect the wearer.
Finally, Warbond includes Pillars of the Abyss and Triangulation Vale Capes, matching player cards. There is a target view Victory Mudra, a [Redacted] player title, and a hidden insertion booster, which equips the helppod with a smokescreen that triggers the effect.
As for what's next, Arrowhead Games Studios hasn't revealed anything concrete. On the game's Discord channel, Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Shams Zorjani teased that the developers want to put 2026 together. Hell Diver 2 The content and feature roadmap, though, can be a bit tricky to figure out without spoiling specific story beats. When asked about future updates, Zorjani dropped the phrase “many Helldivers will die” to fans. With nothing else to go on, many speculated that this means the game will be adding new enemies and threats to the game in the future, however with the reveal of this new Warbond, Arrowhead will also be giving players plenty of new tools to help them deal with them.
