Developer HighGuard announced the layoffs less than a month after the game's release
On February 11, level designer Alex Greiner revealed in a LinkedIn post that he had been let go by Wildlight Entertainment. In their message, they noted that “most of the team” was also removed. Greiner's news was officially confirmed shortly after in a tweet by Wildlight Entertainment. A statement from the company read: “Today we made the incredibly difficult decision to part ways with our team members, keeping a core group of developers to continue to innovate and support the game.” The developer went on to say that it was “proud” of its team and the game they created. While this statement from Wildlight Entertainment reveals that the game will continue to be supported for the time being, it remains to be seen what that will look like.
