When it comes to the prodigies that exist in the world NarutoFew come close to the level Itachi Uchiha displayed throughout his life as a ninja. Itachi was an incredible shinobi from the get-go. Even before he became a full ninja, it was pretty clear to see that he was destined for greatness, and it was precisely because of this that even among the Uchiha, he was considered special as a child. Itachi's genius was such that even legendary sannin couldn't help but notice his presence, and his powers were so impressive that he surpassed them before he even matured as a ninja. Quite easily, Itachi was the greatest talent the Uchiha clan had seen since Madara, and that says a lot about the talent he possessed.
But now in a new era Boruto series, there is a new Uchiha who may have the ability to surpass Itachi Uchiha and all the others who came before him, and that is none other than Sasuke's own daughter, Sarada Uchiha. Sarada is incredibly talented and has a very high ceiling, which she will hope to reach eventually. Boruto series.

Itachi Uchiha was quite a special ninja, and this was evident from his time at the academy. He didn't have the nature to be a leader, but he certainly had great talent. Even as a child, Itachi Naruto was strong enough to defeat the adults of the world. In fact, once he awakened his Sharingan, he was so strong that he was practically qualified to be the leader of the ANBU, Konoha's Special Black Ops. More than that, Itachi's intelligence was such that, At the age of seven, he had already reached the level of Hokage. It shows how talented he was.
Clearly, Itachi was a ninja of a generation whose likes would not be seen for a very long time in the future. Once Itachi awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan, he reached a sky-high level of power that eclipsed even the Legendary Sannin as well as the Kage of Konoha. Itachi possessed the legendary ability of Tsukuyomi, with which he performed space-time genjutsu, and of course, Amaterasu, who could burn anything with an insatiable flame. Itachi's Susanoo also had the invincible weapons of the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror. All in all, Itachi possessed enough skill to be labeled as the strongest of his era, and if his illness hadn't consumed him, he would have actually reached an unprecedented level of power even among the Uchiha clan.

Sarada Uchiha has a higher ceiling than Itachi
Sarada's power level is already frighteningly high
It goes without saying that Itachi has immense talent, but the fact is that Sarada has just as much talent as him, if not more. In the modern age of the ninja world, Sarada Uchiha shines as the brightest ninja of the next generation, and she aims to become the Hokage of her village. Sarada's goal is quite ambitious, she must follow in the footsteps of Naruto Uzumaki, and it requires her to reach a very high level of power already. However, more than that, fans know he has the skills to get that title.
As the Uchiha, Sarada is blessed with the same legendary Sharingan as Itachi. However, in his case, the Mangekyo Sharingan seems even more powerful. Sarada's Mangekyo Sharingan was recently released in the Boruto series, and it's pretty clear to fans that her abilities are truly groundbreaking.

Simply put, Sarada can use her eyes to create black holes with a jutsu called Ohirume. This ability allows him to create four black holes that he can completely control in terms of size and power. The bigger the black hole, the stronger the gravitational pull. Sarada can completely control what her black hole can and can't pull. The gravity in these black holes is so strong that they can essentially crush anyone, even one as strong as Otsutsuki. In many ways, Sarada's raw power is already above Itachi Uchiha's level, but her overall skill is still not at that level. That said, Sarada's ceiling is incredibly high, and if she wants to become Hokage, she really needs to go beyond Itachi's level.

Sarada will establish a great legacy for herself
At this point, fans already know that Sarada will become the Hokage of Konoha. Whether it was the Eighth Hokage or the Ninth Hokage, Sarada would go on to take the position herself, and that already meant she would be considered a legend of the new era. As such, it has already been established in the Boruto series that Sarada will reach heights that even Itachi has not reached, and this is very exciting indeed.
Sarada may not be as talented as Itachi, but her Mangekyo Sharingan is definitely more powerful. Like Itachi, she is a truly kind Uchiha. Sarada is one of the few not affected by the curse of hatred that comes with the Sharingan, and this makes her a worthy heir to Itachi's throne.
Itachi is more liked than Sarada
No one can truly dethrone Itachi Uchiha
At the end of the day everyone said, Itachi Uchiha will always be loved more than her. This is a simple fact that all Naruto fans understand, and this is because Naruto is a more iconic series than Boruto. There isn't a single Boruto character that can hold a candle to the level of character writing that Kishimoto delivered in the original series. Itachi Uchiha is one of his best-written characters, and it's practically impossible for anyone to reach that level of complexity in the Boruto series. Sarada can certainly surpass him in terms of talent, skill and strength, but when it comes to a compelling character, no one in Boruto, be it Sarada or the hero, Itachi, can hold a candle to it.
