Super Mario Bros. Wonder: All Worlds & Course List
With 225 Wonder Seeds for players to collect, each course in Mario Wonder requires a fair amount of dedication and skill to complete.
Players will encounter the first of these boss fights shortly after their arrival at Bellabell Park, though they'll have to find the rest on their own. Thankfully, talking to the poplin with the blue flag in Bellabell Park will mark the location of the next Toad Brigade tent on the map, then Super Mario Bros. Wonder Players can fast travel to the nearest course through the course menu.
How to defeat Koopalings in Bellabel Park
The first Koopaling battle sees players square off against all seven siblings, though this is actually one of the easiest. Players must stand under their clown car and spam flower power-ups until the battle is over.
How to beat Wendy's Showdown (Pipe-Rock Plateau)
You can find Wendy by talking to Captain Toad in the Toad Brigade tent on the Pipe-Rock Plateau. After navigating a short stage and starting a boss fight, you'll need to jump on Wendy's head or hit her with a flower as she makes her way across the screen. After a few hits, fish will start coming out of some portals, so be careful to dodge these. They will sometimes jump back up after landing in the water, so be prepared for that as well. In the final stage, Wendy gets very big and starts bouncing around the stage. When this happens, stand under one of the two platforms and spam flowers until the fight is over.
How to beat Lemmy's Showdown (fluff-puff pics)
Lemmy can be found in Fluff-Puff Picks. Once the boss fight starts, hit the spikey balls below Lemmy with bombs until there are none left. When he returns to the ground, jump on his head to deal damage. Repeating this a few times will get you to the final stage, in which his tower of spiky balls is much larger, but the strategy remains the same: bomb his tower while being sure not to hit any bombs or let Lemmy hit you. Once all the spikey balls are gone, jump on Lemmy's head to complete the boss fight.
How to beat Larry's Showdown (Shining Falls)
To trigger Larry's Showdown, go to the Toad Brigade tent in Shining Falls and talk to Captain Toad. To complete the boss fight, you need to open the pink glass cube that he is hiding inside. Some sides of the cube may have spikes, so be sure to attack from the ones that don't, and also make sure you don't get hit by the pink blocks that move towards you, or the bombs that land when Larry moves to a new cube. When he goes to the top of the screen and the blue fists appear, time your jumps so that you land on top of the fists as they fly towards you and use them to get to Larry's position and deal some damage. Then it's a case of rinse and repeat.
How to beat Roy's Showdown (Sunbaked Dessert)
Roy's showdown takes place in a sunbaked desert area. His size makes it look a bit intimidating at first, but it's actually one of the easiest Koopaling fights. Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Dodge all the falling projectiles by standing under the platform until the bird flies in and leaves the pot. Once it does, pick it up and stand under Roy so that the projectiles from the pot hit him. Later, Boos will start flying across the screen, so you have to choose your moment to jump on them when there is a gap between the projectiles. There are also a few points where Roy returns to his ghost ship. When this happens, look for a gap in the bottom of the ship and make sure you are under it when the ship goes down. After enough hits, the boss fight will end.
How to beat Iggy's Showdown (Fungy Mines)
You can start Iggy's Showdown by talking to Captain Toad at the Toad Brigade tent in the Fungi Mine area. Once the boss fight starts, head to the left side of the boss area until giant piranha plants appear to your right. When they do, jump on their heads and use them to jump right towards Iggy, being sure to press the B button to gain some extra height when you land. You'll need to dodge projectiles as you go right, and also keep an eye out for any piranha plants whose heads are turned upwards rather than sideways, but the strategy is consistent throughout the fight. After enough hits, Iggy will run away, and you'll get yet another Belabell flower.
How to beat Morton's Showdown (Deep Magma Bog)
Morton can be found in the Deep Magma Bog area by talking to Captain Toad in the Toad Brigade Tent. To complete the boss fight, you must jump and grab the handles to pull Morton's strings and force him to damage himself. If you're going to reach the handles, you'll need to use the boxes, which Morton slams his hands into the ground while flying through the air. He'll destroy the boxes if he hits them, though, so the best strategy is to stand away from the boxes until he locks in his attack, then quickly jump on top of one before flying into the air. Assuming you're fast enough, you'll be able to use the extra height to reach the handle. Repeat this process enough times, and Morton will escape, allowing you to claim the last Belabell Flower.
How to beat Ludwig's Showdown (Belbell Park)
Ludwig's Showdown becomes available immediately after defeating Morton and can be triggered by talking to Captain Toad in Bellabell Park. This is the last one Super Mario Bros. WonderKoopaling boss fights, and arguably the hardest. However, the fight starts off easy enough. You just need to dodge his lightning blasts and use the platforms to gain enough height to jump on his head. Over time more platforms will appear, and water will start pouring out of them, which can make climbing easier if you're having trouble. After the first hit, Ludwig will summon a clone, and the cycle will repeat, each hit causing more and more clones. You can kill the clones by jumping on their heads, which will result in fewer projectiles to dodge, although, where possible, you should aim to hit the real Ludwig as quickly as possible, as all the clones will disappear when he takes damage.
After three or four hits, an army of clones will appear, and Ludwig will fly up. When this happens, swim up the waterfall in the middle of the boss area, dodging the lightning blasts from the clones. Once at the top, you need to hit Ludwig three more times. He doesn't have clones this time, but his attacks are much harder to dodge. Climb the platforms as fast as you can and pay attention to where the next explosion is going to strike. There is usually enough space on the platform to dodge the lightning, but there may be occasions where you need to jump instead. In these situations, a floating high jump badge can be incredibly useful. Whichever approach you choose, just focus on stun lightning and dealing damage, and the fight will be over quickly.
