How to get a Christmas hat on Megabonk

megabunk Spooky received the update in early December 2025, giving fans plenty of new content to explore. Although it would have made more sense if it had come on Halloween, players were happy to have more items, characters and weapons to unlock.

A few weeks later, the Christmas patch came out, bringing some essential fixes as well as more holiday content megabunk. This guide will tell players how they can unlock the Santa Hat megabunk – The first hat cosmetic to be available in the game.

How to unlock Santa Hat in Megabonk

in megabunkIn the Quest tab, players will find the Hats section. Players will be able to unlock the hat by finding the hidden present on the forest map in this tab. megabunk.

Where is the hidden present in the forest?

hidden present in megabunk Forests can be found anywhere on the map. Players will have to try their best to explore the map by searching everywhere. The current isn't all that big, so it can be hard to spot. Thankfully, it's wrapped in red wrapping paper and a yellow bow, so it doesn't blend in well with the forest landscape.

If players want to find the Santa hat faster, they must choose a faster character for their next megabunk Run in the woods, like Calcium or Tony McZoom – or invest in an agility tome. Either way, with a fast character, they will be able to cover all the ground very quickly.

After discovering it, players must open it and walk to the Santa Hat that will pop out of the current to equip it and have the opportunity to unlock it after the run.

How to equip the Santa Hat in Megabonk

Once players find a gift in the forest and open it, they can purchase it in the Hats section of the Unlocks section in the main menu. To permanently obtain the Santa Hat, players must purchase it for 18 silver.

To equip the hat, they must select Play in the main menu, choose a character, and then change the No Hat option (below the fixed button) to Santa Hat.
