How to get Alabaster Twisted Sword in Crimson Desert

There are many weapons and armor pieces that you can find Crimson Desert. While some of these are tied to the main quest, others can be very easy to miss because they are hidden throughout the world.

One of these is the Alabaster Twisted Sword, a solid one-handed sword that you can pick up very early in the game as long as you're willing to spend a lot of time on your horse!

To find the Alabaster Curved Sword, you need to make your way northwest to the Crimson Desert region. Located in Urdwah Province, you can find this sword above the Forebearer's Barrens. Specifically, you'll want to place your map marker about an inch above B on the Forebearer.

Before you head out, you'll want to make sure the Visione helmet is unlocked. It allows you to see memories, and will be obtained after you free and explore Hernand's Lioncrest Watchtower. Once you have it, hop on your horse and ride northwest to your map marker.

keep in mind, The Crimson Desert isn't a safe area to fight enemies in if you're just starting out or haven't leveled Kliff much. I strongly recommend avoiding combat as long as possible, as you don't actually have to fight anything to get the Alabaster Twisted Sword. Additionally, you'll want to have at least 5 fire resistance if possible, as this will ensure that extreme heat doesn't sap your stamina.

Once you arrive at your marker, look for a large circular sandpit with a large circular rock formation in the middle. When making your way to the central platform, you'll want to hop on the rocks and use them to cross the sand. This is because it is actually quicksand, which makes it impossible to run normally without being dragged down.

When you reach the platform, take out your lantern and start walking around the perimeter of the ring until you find a piece of memory. See ghosts until you auto-equip your Visione to see memory. You will learn that some people hide some treasure on this small sand island. After the recall ends, Use your lantern to find two places where a sword and a modest silver pouch are buried.

Look for some small, glowing pillars of energy and interact with the ground there. Oddly enough, you don't need a shovel to dig up these items, as Cliff will only use his hands this time. Remember, you need to open the modest silver pouch in your inventory to actually get the money inside.

As for the Alabaster Curved Sword, it's a good one-handed weapon that comes in at game 16 attack, refinement level 2, and three Abyss gear slots. Unfortunately, the sword itself has no unique moves or additional properties like increased critical rate. Because of this, I don't recommend using it unless you like its visual design.

While almost all weapons scale around the same rate in terms of damage, some, such as the Acria Sword, come with a default critical rate of 1. This makes weapons like the Acria even more ideal when it comes to dealing with some of the tougher enemies. That being said, the alabaster curved sword is still decent as an offhand weapon if you're using two swords. Make sure to slot some solid Abyss gear into it to make it even more effective in combat, like attack speed and critical rate!
