Crafting boats and airplanes inside Soulmask A considerable amount of material will be required, and once you finally unlock the ability to travel through the skies, you'll also need to secure a fuel source for your ship's anti-gravity engine.

How to make a boat in Soulmask
Open your tech tree menu and unlock the basic ship node. Doing so will allow you to build your first boat. A small thatch boat that is only good enough to cross small channels and rivers. To build your first real custom ship, Purchase a shipbuilding technology node. This unlocks the ability to build small wooden boats as well as all the parts you need to make them seaworthy.
The small wooden boat and all its related parts must be built using a construction workbench, and you will need the following parts:
- A small wooden boat
- A small wooden boat stern rudder
- Small speed sail
- Small airship helm
These will require basic wood materials, rope, and hide, so make sure to stock up on resources. Have your tribes gather materials to make your life easier.
Place the rudder, sails and helm on the frame of your small wooden boatAnd it will be ready to sail when you are. You can place any type of building piece (flooring, walls, roof, etc.) on your boat, although we recommend using Wood deck flooring pieces First. These have 1×1 tiles which are very easy to use with the limited building space that a small wooden boat frame provides.
How to make airships in Soulmask
To access the necessary aircraft parts, You need to unlock the Airship Technique node in your tech treeBut before you can do that, You first need to defeat the Sobek crocodile boss in the pyramid in the Barren Sandland area.. This will be a tough fight, so at least bronze gear as well as some tribes to help you. Your NPC team will likely be destroyed during the battle, but you can always replace or revive them later. Keep them well armed so they have a better chance of survival.
Once you beat the big crocodile, You will be able to unlock the Airship Technique Node. However, before you leave the owner area, make sure First apply the Sobek crocodile skin. You'll find a bunch of keys that you can use to open a nearby pyramid door.
Go to the pyramid, and go inside to find some loot chests and a terminal to unlock and upgrade masks. Inside one of these chests, You'll likely find some prefabricated airship parts and power crystals for fuel.
To unlock the Airship Technique you need to be at Awareness Power 30. However, you don't need to unlock it to use any airship parts you find.
The nice thing about small airship parts is this You can install them on any small wooden boatEssentially turning them into airships. To fly any small boat, install the following parts on them:

A small anti-gravity engine
Once all these parts are in place, fuel the anti-gravity engine with some power crystals, and you're good to go. Interact with your ship's helm, then use your jump/crouch buttons to climb/descend. Each power crystal gives you about 12 real-time flight for your ship. You can get more crystals by exploring the world and raiding POIs (like airship camps and ruins).
