How to get the new exotic armor in Destiny 2 Renegades

There are only two ways in which you can get new alien armor Destiny 2: Renegades:

  • Completing the Renegades campaign on Legendary difficulty will reward you with powerful gear in the Tharsis Cantina, including Renegades Exotic Armor for your class. This will need to be repeated with your other classes.

  • Get an Alien Keycard from a bonus objective chest while playing Lawless Frontier. With the keycard, go to the location named on the keycard (within the legal limit) and find the hidden room. Inside this room, one of the chests will provide a new alien.

This means that with a heel clip weapon, you can force your health to buff overshield to become more tanky. This is great for ad-intensive activities, and when you have an overshield, your weapons have increased accuracy, stability, handling, and a damage buff of about 20%.
