How to set Keyman Lockdown (and how to use it) in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road

Part of that preparation is setting up a keyman lockdown in Team Duck's strategy, though that method may not be immediately apparent. While players should have no problem setting up Keyman Lockdown, controlling the game with a keyboard and mouse is a problem using it. This issue will be detailed in the final section of this guide, although players are advised to use a controller if possible.

How to Set Keyman Lockdown in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road

Buy Keyman Lockdown Tactic

The first step to setting up Keyman Lockdown is to buy the strategy, and it can be bought in Friendly games – by the football club room Marker on the west side of South Cirrus Junior High. The previous images will help players find that marker, and here's what they should do when they find it:

Interact with the marker.
select Special Training Center.
Navigate to Strategy tab.
Purchase Keyman Lockdown for three Zeal Tokens.

Set Keyman Lockdown

After purchasing a strategy, players must open the menu and navigate Team Dock tab at the top. Players should then look at the bottom-left corner of the screen, where they will see “Team Dock RPG”. There will be an input to the right of that text, and players must press to enter it Team Doc SO menu. Here, players must select one of the empty strategy boxes below their manager's portrait and choose Keyman Lockdown from the list that appears to set it.

How to use Keyman Lockdown in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Players will be instructed to use Keyman Lockdown after taking the first shot during a duel with a baseball club. While there is a brief in-game tutorial on using the strategy, here is an overview of the process required for players:

Controller

Players who use a controller to play Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road A keyman can lock down by taking these actions:

Hold on L1/LB Set strategies to appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Press the input corresponding to Keyman Lockdown. It should be Triangle/Y.
Move your joystick towards the target (in this case Theory). It will have a reason Orange ring to cross the field.
When the target is inside the ring, press Confirm Input to implement the strategy.

Keyboard and mouse

Implementing Keyman Lockdown on a keyboard and mouse looks like it should be very similar to implementing it on a controller, and there are preliminary steps. In fact, players have to hold down a tab to bring up strategy inputs and then press the one associated with Keyman Lockdown to initiate a move. However, once the strategy begins, choosing a target doesn't seem to work as well as the player discovers what they're getting themselves into. The orange ring mentioned above cannot be moved with their mouse or keyboard. Although this issue may be addressed with a future update, here are options that players can currently use to get around it:

Start Keyman Lockdown when the character using the strategy is on top of the target. This should make it possible to confirm the target without moving anything.
Set up a virtual controller to simulate controller inputs.
