I'm already heartbroken about Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's DLC 3

On the one hand, release date announcement and disclosure Kingdom Come: Redemption 2's third DLC, Mysteria Ecclesiae, has me hyped. Not only is it one of the best games I've played all year, but probably one of my favorite games of all time. Needless to say, any content the game received, I sold it ahead of time. Unfortunately, Mysteria Ecclesiae is a double-edged sword for me, and once playing it Kingdom Come: Redemption 2 The DLC launching on November 11th is bound to be one of the sweetest gaming experiences I've ever had.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 DLC 3 Mysteria Ecclesiae Release Date

Maybe you think I'm referring to the fact that Mysteria is going to be the last DLC for Ecclesia. Kingdom Come: Redemption 2 And I just can't bear to see the game's story end. And if you think there's a chance of getting more DLC after this, think again. The announcement trailer for Mysteria Ecclesiae even called it “The Final Adventure”. However, it is not the last Kingdom Come: Redemption 2 It's already breaking my heart – it's the conclusion of a much larger story that I'm having trouble coping with.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC is set to conclude Henry's story

yes, Kingdom Come: Redemption 2The Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC will conclude the game's story, but it is also expected to close the book on its protagonist's story. This means that, not only will the sequel's story end with the third DLC, but the broader, more personal story that began at the beginning of the original. Kingdom Come: Redemption It will probably come to a conclusion. That story is about none other than Skalitz's Henry, who initially sets out with the simple goal of recovering his father's stolen sword, only to find himself on a path of grief, revenge, justice and self-discovery that has stuck with me for the past seven years.

Kingdom Come Redemption 2 Henry finished

Maybe you're thinking, “A new story for Henry isn't going to start next.” Kingdom Come: Redemption?” But I'd say you're in denial. See, the actor who plays Henry, the brilliant Tom McKay, posted on X in August that he had just recorded his “final DLC 3 voice over session.” Now, that alone, suggests that he just finished recording dialogue. Kingdom Come: Redemption 2. However, he goes on to clarify in the same post, “And so my final session for @KingdomComeRPG.”

“The last ever” – probably the two most heartbreaking words I've ever heard come out of Tom McKay's mouth when I first heard his voice on the original. Kingdom Come: Redemption. If you are still holding out hope he is not completely finished Kingdom Come: RedemptionLet me drive the knife deep by telling you about another post from Warhorse Studios on X that showed the team throwing Tom a big party and saying “Thanks, Tom – you'll always be a part of Warhorse history!” I mean, that sounds like a proper send-off if I ever heard one.

So, what is the conclusion? I bet Kingdom Come: Redemption 2The next DLC, Mysteria Ecclesiae, is going to give Henry some kind of touching (and heartbreaking) farewell. Currently, I don't know what that will look like, and I dread the possibility that his story will end badly. After all, Mysteria Ecclesiae will see Henry investigating a mysterious disaster – one that he's potentially as subject to as he is to help. And with “unexpected endings” confirmed for the third DLC, perhaps players will have the chance to choose whether Henry lives or dies.

Kingdom Come Redemption Henry disguise

Personally, I'd like to see him finally reunite with his romantic partner and then settle down on a quiet farm, maybe have kids. For me, that would be it Kingdom Come: Redemption 2Catherine, who I know is old enough to be Henry's mother, but I don't care. Even if it ends well, though, after seven years with him, I still don't want to see Henry go. Ultimately, it means something else Kingdom Come: Redemption Will likely feature a brand-new hero, and while I believe Warhorse would work well with anyone, who could beat Tom McKay?
