These two are the most meaningful. There is always some sort of tension between Leon and Ada, and he and Claire go through the traumatic events of the Raccoon City disaster together. All three characters were together a lot, but that's also the main problem. If Leon is married to Ada or Claire, it means that the foundation of their relationship is built on trauma. Not healthy soil for growing relationships. The couple may have been through extensive therapy over the years, but the unique nature of their work can make it difficult to properly unpack everything.
The answer will become clear one day, but not yet. What we want to convey in the final scene is simple: Leon now has a 'place to go home' to, and we hope you can imagine the peaceful moments spent there.
Ada Wong isn't exactly marriage material
Don't get me wrong. I think Ada Wong is one of the best characters ever Resident Evil. I also think he would make a terrible partner. As an independent mercenary for hire, she constantly serves her own interests and is not afraid to deceive people in order to see her goals. People can change, but that's a fundamental piece of Ada's personality. Nothing is impossible, but it's hard to imagine Ada willing to settle either way. On the other hand, one would be bound to see such a cold character fall in love.
Claire Redfield just looks so busy

The series doesn't reveal what she's been doing for the past decade, but she was working for Terrasave at the time. She may still be working for the humanitarian agency against biological weapons. If that's the case, then it's hard to imagine a world where she and Leon are able to align their schedules. Fans have a new desire Resident Evil Play with Claire Redfield for a long time. I want her back, but I don't know if coming back as Leon's wife is the right call. Both have jobs that are very serious and time-consuming. Whether it's Ada, Claire, Ashley, or an entirely new character is bound to be a big debate among the fan base until it's officially confirmed. Until then, all fans can do is theorize who Leon's lucky bride is.
