For obvious reasons, Vinke does not publicly address the strained relationship between Larian and Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast. It is unclear why this would be the case. It is known that Larian started the work first Baldur's Gate 4 before canceling it, citing a lack of creative inspiration to dive straight into that universe.
