Every year at Jump Festa, Eiichiro Oda delivers his exciting message that tells fans what's to come in the coming year. This year was no different, and Oda revealed many exciting things to fans. Oda talked about the live-action coming in 2026 and the confirmation of a season 3 for live-action. He also briefly talked about WIT Anime and the upcoming movie for One Piece.
However, most of all, Oda talked about the manga and what to expect from it in 2026. While Oda teased a number of confrontations and reunions, what fans were most excited to see was Oda confirming that the forest fragment will lead to an island that only the Pirate King has ever been to. As fans know, this island can be a very good laugh story. At least, it's one of the two strongest possibilities, so it's a 50-50 chance at the moment. Elbaf will open a gateway at the end of a piece
At this point, It's pretty clear that whatever unfolds towards the end of this arc in Elbaf will be the gateway to the end of One Piece.. Oda has teased multiple times that Elbaf will mark the start of the Great War, and fans are well aware that it's upon them now. The Revolutionary Army is ready, as are the Holy Knights, the Emu has moved in, and the Straw Hats are now stronger than ever. This could be the perfect opportunity for the island to enter the final arc for one piece and only reach Pirate King for the Straw Hats.

The Straw Hat Pirates are about to gain a powerful member. This member will be the strongest Yonko commander of all time in one piece.
To be clear, this other island could either be Laugh Tail, or it could be Lodestar Island. Both of these islands have only been reached by the Pirate King before, so things will be incredibly exciting going forward. Either way, it matters little as both of these arcs will be the beginning of the end for One Piece, as the battle for the Fourth Road Poneglyph escalates. Consequently, one piece will soon be acquired by someone, most likely Luffy.

Based on Oda's own comments, it seems A piece is fast approaching its end. If the final arc starts in 2026, which is a 50-50 case right now, then fans might think that One Piece will end sooner. That said, the thing about Oda is that he is almost never right with his time estimates. Previously, Oda had set things to happen in the following years that would take at least three to four years to complete. This means that even though Elbaf ends in 2026, some things may take longer than Oda anticipates.
The final arc, or even the island where the Pirate King just set foot, probably won't come until 2026. If this happens, the flow of events will take Oda at least four to five years, if not more. A reasonable estimate for the end of a piece would be around 2032That's six years from now, and that's if fans are being too generous.
