With so few legendary items compared to other properties ARC RaidersPlayers are rarely likely to see all of these, if any, while scavenging the ledges above. However, the Anvil Splitter is in a class of its own compared to other legendary items, making it a particularly noteworthy legendary.

Where to find the Anvil Splitter and what it does

The Anvil typically fires one round of heavy ammo per trigger pull. However, as the name implies, the Anvil Splitter splits each shot into 4 weak projectiles, dealing 30% of the unmodified gun's base damage. The benefit of using this tech mode is that it gives players a total of 120% damage on all 4 projectiles, which works well against larger enemies like Leapers, Bastions, and other attackers at close range. The trade-off is that the Anvil now lacks the distance accuracy of a single-projectile shot that it once had.

Finding the Anvil Splitter will likely be an exercise in frustration, as there is no fixed drop location for this Legendary Tech Mod. The best places to search are in high-value loot areas during night raids, especially in breachable rooms and ARC Raiders' Security lockers. Players lucky enough to find the Anvil Splitter Blueprint will be able to craft the item indefinitely with this recipe:

Anvil Splitter is currently the only tech mod in ARC Raiders

To make Anvil Splitter even more unique, it's the only tech mod available to players ARC Raiders. Players who equip the Anvil before queuing for a game may notice that it has two mod slots: one for the muzzle attachment and one for the tech mod. While there are several different rarities of muzzle attachment that can be equipped on the Anvil, the only attachment that can be equipped in the Tech Mode slot is the Anvil Splitter.
